HI BiggiePR....you need to increase your food (fuel) intake, that's all. To keep your metabolism up you need to keep eating. It's like stoking a fire. If you don't keep fueling your body, it slows down and you burn less. Depending on the intensity of your workouts, 6-8 small meals a day!

Ironman? you are amazing. Kudos to you You are a big inspiration to all. And yes, I also believe that you can do anything.
So now that you have reached your goal, what is your plan to maintain?

Way to go!

Of course, gotta say you're awesome to have done so much so quickly.

You ever hit road blocks with your running (messed up knees, feet, shins), since you said you ran quite a bit?? Did you mix other cardio in with your running??

Thanks alot man. Well to maintain I just gotta keep eating 6 meals a day and atleast 4,000+ cals. I should be fine. I find I can eat about 5k a day and not gain. Ofcourse im going to start weight training some so my intact will have to shoot back up to atleast that many cals a day or more.

As far as workouts. Weights will prolly be 3 times a week and maybe around 25-30miles a week in runs. I should be able to maintain and build my muscle even futher. Hoping to trim down to around 190lbs and a 32" waist. I'm currently a 34" at 208.

Meh I wanted to kick ass and do it. Get it done so tis speak. Main thing was monitor everything and make sure im staying healthy. My health just continued to get stronger and better as the workouts kept going. I think many people don't realize how storng you're body is. Infact you're mind will play tricks on you and tell you, you can't handle more or do more but, the truth is you're body can handle alot more than you think.

I constantly mixed things up. Sometimes I would run into problems with my right hip and my feet. For the most part as long as I constantly ate and took my vitamins+ sleep I was fine. Maybe some of that is more mental than anything I dunno. I could have blocked out some stuff.

I just knew I wanted to do the impossible and i was sick of being unhealthy and fat.

wow that means alot to me man. I'm glad you are starting to eat more. Accelerating you're metabolism with lots of eating and counteracting it with exercise is what really pulls the weight off.

glad to hear you are doing so well. Keep it up bro you can do it.
