I am not at goal weight, but from what I am reading and what I have experienced myself, it becomes a way of life right? Like you look forward to working out, or you look forward to cooking and eating healthy... I personally love it.

I said that a year and a half ago... as a matter of fact, I said that I will just eat right and not exercise, which would have resulted in weightloss... but just a smaller but still round version of myself. The equation of WT + cardio + diet = great success for me. YMMV.

im not at my goal yet but when i have saturday & sunday off not working out,...i hate it cause it feel so full and i want to exercise i cant go days without exercing and and im so use to watching what i eat if i cheat and have something chocolaty it makes me feel sick!.....So im so use to this diet right now & thats a good thing.

Doesn't sound like a diet to me... sounds like a way of life.

And I can relate 150% on everything you wrote, except for the chocolate part, it's usually something with grease that makes me feel sick, although I haven't really eaten anything with heavy grease in quite a few months... last week of December I believe.

yea not a diet but a diferent lifestyle for me..i should be eating this way instead of having junk food the whole time like dougnuts or muffins in the morning and pizzas for lunch and then cookies for snacks.. thats how i use to eat..now i can eat healthy but still not give up on things that i like i just cant eat it like i use too.i did cheat for easter with some M&M's and those made me sick ughh...now i know why im eating right & i feel so much better!

O for sure! It does become a way of life..I LOVE working out now..i told myself when i started exercising i would NEVER run bc for me it was REALLY HARD...now i ABSOLUTLY love it!!..i feel like crap if i just miss ONE day of working out..if just makes you feel ALIVE and ENGERGIZED! I still eat bad things every now and then but it doesnt bother me bc of how much i workout..but i eat A LOT less then i did...i had food on my mind all the time and i would stuff myself too quickly to even know if i was full and then id be walking around BLOATED!!..now i eat slower and i listen to my body to tell me when im full.

Ahahaha.....I used to NEVER know what PEOPLE meant when they said "LISTEN" to their stomachs....I just thought being "BLOATED" was a way of LIFE in our "SUPER SIZED" society! and finish up your food, WHO KNEW people actually HAD LEFTOVERS!...lol......I listen NOW too....and you do feel much BETTER after you eat!

haha i know!! I would always be like "I only have a little bit left to finish..so im just going to eat it"...then i felt like CRAP afterwards...it would get to where it would HURT to TRY and suck in...ICK!! lol...not cool...

ktjean, I have a couple questions.

I am not overweight but I'd like to lose a few pounds, but its really hard for me to kick the sweet stuff. the past three days i've been eating healthy, and today i had a cupcake. Does stuff like that set you back too much? Or is it ok to have a snack like that once a week?

How was it for you to lose the last 15 pounds? I hear those are the hardest.

How many calories did you eat a day?

I just notice I stay the same if i eat crappy but still am working out..but if i eat crappy a couple days in a row i gain a couple pounds..but then you just have to whip yourself back into eating right and stay away from those BAD snacks..try to have more healthy snacks..like peanuts or granola bar..try your hardest to stick to working out and eating healthy!..It just takes longer to lose those stubburn last pounds bc you dont have as much weight to lose...it WILL come off you just have to be patient...I have no clue how many calories i eat a day..i never did count..i just made sure to eat right and that was it for me..and workout 5-7days a week. Good luck on everything!!

haha! ya it does acually...i NEVER wore tight clothes..A LOT OF SWEATSHIRTS haha..now i feel confident!!

i love the fact that your fiancee was with you when you were heavier. at least you know he'll love you know matter what you looked like.

plus, it's so awesome that you were able to work out together and he could help you through it!
