Hello everyone! It's been awhile since I've been actively participating in our lovely forum. Although I've been MIA for a while, I've somewhat kept up with my new lifestyle in becoming healthy. When I say "somewhat" I've changed.. more like replaced what I lived for to a healthier version.. i.e., fat-free, sugar-free, whole wheat vs. white, etc... In doing so I've managed to get rid of 52 lbs to date. With changing my eating habits, I've incorporated exercise to my weekly schedule 1-2 x's a week (I'm still working on adding more, but hey, I'm a divorced mama of 4 working full-time).. whew!..

Anyrate, below is a picture taken of me around Sept of '06. I was roughly 240 lbs.. give or take a few lbs. Btw, I'm 5'9.



Here's a picture of me and my cousins taken a couple weeks ago. I'm in the middle and am 188 lbs.

Wow you look great! Unbelievable how much weight you have lost only by changing your lifestyle. I also changed my lifestyle like you: fat free, low sugar products and diet drinks instead of regular ones. Many friends told me that I can't lose weight with this kind of diet, but you are the best example that it really works!

Woot woot! Polynesian pride! haha (I'm from Hawaii (part Hawaiian)and noticed the lei and the turtle shell bracelet.. haha) You look fantastic, girl. Anyone who can juggle 4 children on her own while still finding the time to fit in exercise and keep to a healthy lifestyle deserves props. Good luck.
