I joined a while back but forgot about the forum. I came back without the thought of starting to try to lose weight, until I saw everyone's before and after pictures. WOW, how inspirational! So, I'm doing it for real this time. I currently weigh 264 lbs, (although I don't trust my scale, so I'm getting a new on this week) and I'm 5'6".

Four years ago I weighed 153 lbs and I let myself go unfortunately. My goal this time is 130 lbs and I know it will take a while, but I WILL do it, slowly but surely. Here are my current pics. Oh, and sorry for the dirty mirror and messy bathroom! :P

Good luck with your weight loss. We are about the same size and the same height. My highest weight was 287, however I also don't trust my scales (I have 3 currently in use) on which I weigh 246, 255, & 260. I have a 3 month old child, so the pregnacy put me back a little on my weight loss effort. Thank goodness I did not gain any weight with my prenancy, but I have not lost much weight in the last year, so I am trying to get that truck rolling again in the right direction. So if you need a buddy that's at the same point that you are, let's keep in touch.

Hey! I really appreciate your response. It's nice to hear that there's someone in the same situation (height and weight) as me. I realized after posting my before pics thread that I did not have my scale in a flat area... So I put it on the smoothest flattest area in my home and it read 264... So after 3 days of counting calories and some exercise I am down to 259. =D

Whatever changes you have made regarding eating and exercise, they are obviously working for you! Glad you posted your pics, too - such an inspiration to see how far others have come, isn't it?
