I started my weight loss journey about December 29, 2007. I've lost about 8-9kg so about 20lb. Although not as much as many others here, I'm still impressed.
The first picture is me on New Years Day, quite drunk. I was about 93kg/205lb.
The second is taken with my phone with the same shirt today, and I'm about 84kg/185lb. The photo wasn't originally taken to compare but I thought I'd post. The second was with my phone.
Although my body is still fat, I notice my face is a tad skinnier. Still have the double chin though (sort've hidden in the pic), although losing it slightly.
I don't really notice MUCH difference, but it's early days yet as I ultimately aim for about 72kg/158lb.
Thus far I've changed my diet, eating oatmeal, skim milk and a banana for breakfast and two wholegrain sandwiches with tomato and lettuce and an apple for lunch. Dinner usually consists of a salad with chicken or perhaps wholegrain spaghetti.
I usually have a snack in between the meals and I would either have an apple and peach bar, a nut bar or strawberries.
Exercise I've just been power walking which has developed into some jogging, showing I've gotten fitter. Although the past week I've been very slack and need to make it a daily habit again, and I plan to implement some mild muscle maintenance exercises such as push ups and squats.
VERY IMPRESSIVE!!! You have done a fantastic job so far and it is very noticeable! Just make sure you are getting enough protein every day. Keep up the *AWESOME* work!!
