Showin' the Lemons...before...inbetween...after?

Sooo...I am finally going to show some pics. I have been greedily leaching off of all of yours for months. Its time I contribute back to the group. And, yes, my knees are shaking.

I've been hanging around the forum since October 2007 and I have been consuming all of your experiences, advice, and support instead of chocolate and ice cream. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I have reached the halfway mark. I can see a difference, but like many of you out there, I find it hard to feel completely successful when I know I have quite ways to go. I'm motoring on. I guess if we could all wake up thin tomorrow, there wouldn't be sites like this one. Thank goodness that this site is here for those of us who are no longer delusional!

Here's the brief 411. You can read more if you see my diary "Squeeze my Lemons" (yes I know.. I have a questionable sense of humor. LOL!). I am 27, 5'4". I started in September '07 at 183. Now in Feb '08, I am 160. I have changed my eating habits, I am counting calories, and I have started working out 4-5 days a week (30min) since January.

Nice work. Congrats on the loss and on the new specs. I actually have some similar to them but they aren't featured in any of my pictures. They aren't Bebe frames, are they?

Also, are you on a brewery tour in the first before picture? I love those, er, loved them 'cause you get a free pint at the end. (I don't drink anymore, at all.) Or if you ever have the chance to go to the Heineken brewery in The Netherlands you can drink as much as you want because there's no pint limit.

You look a lot younger in your second pictures.

You look wonderful. I see a massive difference, no more chubby face, it's nice and slim now.

Thanks for all the wonderful replies. I am blushing. I even feel a bit guilty for posting them after hearing such nice compliments. Maybe I won't feel guilty when I post my smokin' hot after pictures. *LOL*Pride can trump any blushing moments!

Yes I definitely thin out in my face first. That's the thing people first comment on.

The glasses are Vogue. I just got them in January and I quite like them. I was worried about the boldness, but I think they were a good choice. Yes, that picture is from a brewery tour at the Kokanee Brewery in southern BC. It wonderful beer, but my love of beer contributed to the problem. I hardly drink any now. I seldom drink strongbow, which is my true love.
