first time poster. Well.. what better way to get yourself motivated than to post a few topless shots of yourself :-)
I started at the gym in Nov 07 weighing 235 pounds. By Dec I had lost 6 pounds or so. I went on holidays for a month over January and Feb - by Feb 18 I weighed 222 pounds.
So.. since Feb 18, I have had a personal trainer at the gym 4 days a week (and eating better), for 45 minute sessions. In that 7 weeks, I have gone from 222 to 203.
By mid May, I should be at 185.
Though its funny, when I first started, I thought 185 would be great. But, now, I wonder if its enough. I find it hard to believe all the flab i still have only weighs 18 pounds. I dont notice a huge difference in my before and during pics... but... I do know for sure, that none of my pants fit me anymore!!
On the upside, when I do get rid of the excess baggage... since being at the gym, there is definately some muscle there that will show through!!! As I like to say to my trainer "I have a secret six pack" its there.. I can feel it, its just secretly hiding under some fat!! haha
I will post more pics as I go along.
Oh.. and just to save some face, here is a photo from the weekend with a shirt on (thank the Lord you say!!)

I can see a huge difference. Great work. I like the hidden six pack comment. I swear I have one, too. One day it may just surface!
Love the guitar picture. Musician? The overexposure on the background and the way it blends into the shirt is wonderful. Professional photographer take it?

Thank you! Yes, I play the guitar.
Well, I wouldnt quite call myself professional - but ill take it as a compliment :-) The problem being a photographer is that you are the one always taking the photos... so, on the weekend I decided to do a few self portraits using the timer!!

I hear, you. I am a photographer as well. Lots of pictures of others, not so many of me. Unless you count the weight loss ones I'm keeping of myself and they definitely ain't pretty. Yup, I think its time I pull out the good old self-timer, again!
BTW...you definitely do not look like the picture in that link...that picture is definitely disturbing!
Awesome job I can see a huge difference. You'll reach your goal in no time And you know, you kinda do look like Jimmypop They say everyone has a twin, and I guess hes yours :P
