Hello All!

These are my disgusting before pictures...sorry about any eye-doctor bills which may be incurred as a result of viewing these....
I took photos both in my underwear and in an outfit I could comfotably fit in 3 years ago...hopefully in a couple of months I'll be able to fit into it once again I can't even get the skirt up my legs now!!!
I really need to lose this weight, as I am moving to Scotland at the end of the summer, and I want to look good for those sexy scottish boys haha.

Welcome to the board. Don't you just hate it when your favorite clothes don't fit anymore? It sucks. But it did take 3 years to put on the weight, so I wouldn't be too awfully dissapointed if you can't wear the skirt in a few months. We can't expect to lose in a few months what took us year to put on, you know what I mean? But with time and patience, you'll be wearing that skirt again!!

I totally hear ya about the skirt not going up. I had that happen to me last week! Eeks! Congrats on posting your befores and welcome to the site.

I know what you mean, I can't and will not wear a skirt looking the way I do..I hope and pray I lose a lot in 2 months

Thanks for all the words of encouragment guys! Im glad I joined too...I will post more pics probably every month on the 15th from now til September..hopefully that skirt will fit by then :/

Wow, I am TOTALLY jealous that you are heading off to Scotland! We were there (myself and DH) in '94 visiting relatives and just loved it. Check out the Royal Mile in Edinborough! Very cool indeed.

You will feel so fantastic as that little skirt is able to inch its way up to where it belongs - and you will even be able to zip it up all the way! The time will come, believe me. Then you may even get too small for it!!!

Get a good plan, stick with it, and you will be amazed!

IPodge, you have a long road to go.. I bet you will have a perfect body after your weight-loss process. Don't forget to do Cardio, leg and stomach excersises also... And I wonder how old are you?

I think you're too hard on yourself... though you seem to have an awesome personality! Welcome to the community.

You're at a perfectly fine starting point. It's just that... a starting point. It will only get better from here. Try to remain positive and consistent and only good can come from it.

What really REALLY sucks is when I stumble across photos of myself, like this one, and know that when that was taken I thought I was fat..now I would kill to be that kind of "fat" haha. Oh well..I am just really really hoping everything bounces back, and I dont have lots of flab when I lose the weight.

Dont worry about what will happen down the road. Focus on one day at a time, one meal at a time. Make each decision a good decision and before you know it you will be thin. Remember, this is a race of endurance not speed and I know you WILL do it.
