When I think about it- it is a short amount of time but I really have worked my ever-loving ass off for this.
The thing is I really do not feel as slim as that picture makes me look. I am real pleased with the whole situation though. I really do not think I have dropped a pound in a couple of weeks but I think I am looking better.

Rep Power: 85555 | | | What did I tell you - the scale isn't got to necessarily register changes you have in your body...I literally was at the same weight for a month but my measurements dropped.
As long as you look better, don't sweat the evil scale monster....

So I know I have been sitting around the last 2 or 3 days feeling sorry for myself. I know- pitiful.
I thought last night that today will be 4 months since I quit smoking and 4 months since I began reshaping my life in earnest... 4 months is a long time yet a very short time in the grand scheme.
I have always hated being the fat, weak guy. I had no shape at all- I was a shapeless, weak mass of skin and fat. I always wanted to be one of those big guys who had definition to them that made you look twice at them and go 'holy shit that is a big guy'......
That preamble is to explain why I took the pictures below. This is not that I think I am 'huge' or 'cut' or anything like that. I wanted to have the confidence to post these. I am not looking for anything other than respect- this is a big step for me. Really being comfortable in the skin I have now Please be kind.
Thank you for reading and looking.

I appreciate the kind words. I just hope I can keep these up. I am really considering taking them down. The whole confidence thing is new to me.
I never really noticed the abs to be honest with you- but good lord they are showing just a little bit aren't they...

However, they are impressive and it could be equated to you at the beach. That's your goal right? To look good at the beach (not specifically the beach, but to be comfortable in your own skin at a pool or whatever, but you got the idea), and that requires you to remove the shirt, which btw, I NEVER did in my life. Always swam at a pool with a shirt on or went into the ocean with on, except for 2 times at the end of last summer around your weight. I've lost 50 lbs since than, so I am even more nervous with the skin issue... I say do it now while you can and start REALLY over thinking it. |
