Rep Power: 0 | | | new guy with just starting out pics Hey guys. Just started my diet and exercise plan so I figured I would embarrass myself and put my pics up for some motivation. Here are the pics...maybe if I shave my body I will lose 5 pounds huh? I'm a living Wookie  I'm showing a shirtless front shot as well as a side shot, I also included a head shot because usually when I lose weight, I notice it first in my face and neck
According to the Wii Fitness scale, my weight is 240.5 and my BMI is somewhere between 30.0 and 33.0 (cant remember exactly). My goal is to lose 22 pounds or more before August 17th, that's when I leave for vacation. Hope to see you guys around

Good luck on your journey! | Thanks for the good luck! I was very impressed with the Wii Fit last night. I opened up with a short run, did some yoga, some strength exercises and also mixed in more aerobics. I think I did around 30 minutes of exercise last night. My muscles are sore today. My arms and legs hurt as well as my abs. So I think that is a good indication that something got worked |

I live with my bros and they play Wii all the time. They both need to get more active because this last winter they really packed on some extra weight... So we were talking about this Wii Fit the other day and now that I've heard a good review about it I'm going to mention it again to them  I'm very interested to see your progress and wish ya the best.

Rep Power: 0 | | | WooHOO!! so in 10 days I have gone from 240.5 pounds down to 230.8!! My BMI has dropped from 33.67 to 32.21. I will try to post pics later but honestly I dont look different. at least I don't think so |

But an even more important suggestion is to get your body fat percentage measured!!! You can go to a local gym and ask them to do it for you or you can google "Body Fat Percentage Calculator" and get a rough estimate. This is what everybody losing "weight" should be monitoring. Fat loss should be the main focus of "weight loss."
Careful with the "diet" don't do anything stupid like entirely eliminating a major food group (carbs or fat) or starving yourself which in the end will just make you fatter. Diet smart.
