Rep Power: 0 | | Yeah, I had the flat tire action going on too, but ive been closely monitoring it, and with lower body fat percentages, the less "extra skin" i am looking at. we'll see when i drop into single digits. anyways, i implore you to start looking at bf% instead of weight at this point. |

As punishment to myself (and all of you apparently) I'm posting the dreaded underwear pic below (with my head cut off), that shows the love handles in all their glory. This is why I wear clothes. Well, that and because I'd get arrested at the mall without them. Quote:

And now, with much hesitation... the muffin tops... |

Rep Power: 0 | | I just have to tell you this... you look like Paul Rudd from the movies Knocked Up and 40-Year-Old Virgin.
And just in case you have no clue who he is/what he looks like... |

Rep Power: 8 | | Ugh... these pounds are tough! I've also been struggling with exercise the past few weeks. I had to go out of town for a new job for few days which screwed up my schedule and kept me from working out. Then it was tough to get back on schedule. Now I've been doing home study for 2 weeks which has had me sedentary. I've been unmotivated to exercise which is my own fault and I'm noticing it in being tired & not feeling like waking up in the morning. I haven't stopped eating right though - not eating junk and I haven't put on any weight... so that's a good thing. Last night I did get an hour of elliptical in and I plan on doing that again tonight. Once I get started, I'm fine... it's just getting back in the habit after being broken of it.
I'll have to be careful because I go to formal training with this new job on the 21st. I'll be in New York (right outside of Manhattan!) for 2 weeks straight. I'm staying at a place that has a gym, so I've got no excuse.
Must. Stay. Motivated. |

Rep Power: 9 | | Hey, good stuff - thats an impressive loss!
I know what you mean about the last bit, its soooo hard to lose, my bf% is 19-20% and i still have the ''muffin top'' think you have to get down to 16 or 17% for them to disappear, but i've been at this stage for a good while now
Keep it up, i'll be following the progress man.
And haha Matthew Lillard uncanny. |

Rep Power: 6 | | Thought I would pop by and see your progress. Don't harass yourself over silly muffin tops; rather, relish the accomplishments you have made. This is amazing progress! The results will come.
As for getting rid of them, there's a series of moves from Power 90 that may help you that I do in the one circuit. I'm horrendous at describing physical movements, but I shall do my best. Each circuit in Power 90 is a 3 portion series. The one is a knee up section. Each time you bring your knees up you have to make sure you are engaging your abdominals. You also incorporate your arms into the move, poised above your head and pulling them down as you bring your legs up. The first move is just the simple knee up, pulling the arms down combination. The second is very similar, however your knees must come up to the side of your body to work your obliques. The third you resume the normal knee up position, but twist your upper body into the move.
And, because Youtube is amazing, here a link to someone who did a session. The first movements are from this section I am describing. Sure, it may be speeded up, but it demonstrates the moves on a level which my words fail.
Hope this helps! I know this section has really helped with my stomach. The slimming has started from my obliques and continuously worked inward. I'm just waiting for my abs to be revealed! |

Then I see myself naked and see what I still want to do. I'll have to look into that toning advice you posted. Thanks! Quote:
