Results depend for everyone. For me personally, my
body is like a week or more behind the scale. I look down at the scale and see I've lost 10 lbs in a month and 2 weeks later my waist will catch up.
It also depends on the exercise plan to which you adhere. People who start off by building up muscle won't see much shift in weight (they may even gain) but they, much like you, will start to feel differences such as looser clothing.
If your clothes feel looser than normal, whatever you're doing is working and you should stick to it. If, at the end of a month, maybe 6 weeks, you still haven't lost any weight and your clothes don't seem to be changing, I would reevaluate your plan.
Last tidbit of advice. Always, always, always bust your butt when you're working out. I'm not saying to kill yourself, but make sure your
body knows that you're taking it back.
