I'm a new mommy. Had my little guy in September via c-section. I was 173 when I got pregnant. Here's a little background. I'm a shorty with some shape. I'm 5'1 and 215. My highest was 221 (the day I gave birth) and my lowest adult weight was 159 (when my husband and I began dating). I usually plateau at 170. I love the shape of my body, however I'd love it more a little less cuddly. (My husband came up with that word since I banned the word 'fat' from my vocabulary.)
Anywho, I'm back at work now from my maternity leave and keeping a food diary. It feels good to be active again, recovering from the c-section was no walk in the park... haha pun intended.

I had my little man back in February (my second c-section) and they are definitely not fun but recovering after having a baby is not easy. Not to mention the sleepless nights...

Make sure you take care of yourself first and foremost. Doing that has made me a better mother this time around than when I had my first.

Btw, I just wanted to say that it is nice to see someone actually smiling in their "before" pictures. You are lovely no matter what your shape is!

Aww thank you for the lovely words. I love to smile, it makes the journey of life a little sometimes. I try my best to take a little time out for myself even if it's only a bath.
