Rep Power: 10 | | i lost 39 pounds all told, the before picture was taken by our tourguide in the ukraine, (as all photo taking of me was banned but she insisted! :P) i was bigger than that i just dont have any evidence (which is very cunning of me - wiped it from my mind) i just have some toning up to do but seriously i completly salute everyone battling with thier weight, its damn hard work, your all doing a great job on this forum though, keep it up  |

I think we all look better after losing weight not simply because there's less of us, but because we FEEL better and our self-esteem shoots up and that comes across in how we start to present ourselves. I think I walk a little differently now that I'm lighter....with a little more confidence.

Rep Power: 10 | | i know what you mean!!! things seem to affect me less, like i'll get insulted, or something bad will happen, and i'll just be like 'ah f*** it!!' wheras before i would somehow (in the way of all women with podge!) manage to attribute it to bieng overweight! i'm always really impressed when i meet a confident overweight person, i think that shows real strength of character |
