Sorry i haven't got any photos or anything, i'm just starting out (well, sort of). I'm kinda worried..i'm the heaviest i've ever been in my entire life...i'm 27 years old, about 5'2, 200 pounds and it seems to mostly be from my hips/thighs/butt since i mostly gained weight there (always have). i've been on a diet before. lost a significant amount of weight and my body seemed to be losing weight where i most wanted. but then i gained all of it back AND THEN SOME. my worry is that because i'm the heaviest i've ever been that once i start losing weight again that because my lower body is the biggest it's ever been that now it's too late. that when i begin to lose weight i'll lose it mostly from my upper body and my lower body will forever stay significantly larger, and i'll look hideous . am i being foolish or is there some truth to my theory?

Oh, that's silly! It will come off a little bit everywhere, and once it's all off, who cares where it was before right?

I have that worry too, because a lot of my weight is in my butt, thighs, and legs. But it WILL go away, it will definitely take the longest to go away. I read somewhere that your legs take the longest to shed weight. But if you keep exercising then it will go away. Don't get discouraged if you don't see results right away, like everything else it will take time. Good luck to you.

True. I started at 200lbs, 5 ft2, and now I'm down to 171lbs . You CAN do it.
