I went to my one week post appointment where they removed the drain that they had left during surgury and I feel so much better. I was down 15lbs. I am excited about the weight loss but I find myself thinking of food all the time. I am not physically hungery but mentally I am starving. I am looking foward to feb 7th. I get to start having soft foods again. at that point it will have been 4 weeks of just liquids.

so are you gonna start up a thread in the diary section and keep up the news so i can keep track?
Im interested in the process on how things are going, what side affects and stuff. I have no idea how it works and im sure others who have considered this option will be curious to know.

I got to start back on semi solid foods. I was so excited, but I am having a hard time because you are only allowed a few foods like oatmeal, eggs, yougurt, soft potatoes, sugar free pudding. I can only get about 3-4 bites down at a time before I start to feel full and alittle sick. I have talked to many people who have has this surgery and they assure me it will get better. I have to follow this stage of the diet for 2 weeks than I get to add more foods to my list and than I think I do that for a couple of weeks and than add more foods and so on and so fourth. I am losing weight still pretty rapidly but when your only get down a very very little calories, I also have to take alot of vitamins so that to keep up my immune system, and keep my body functioning since i am not getting enough nutreints from food. Even though this is very hard I still believe I made the right decision for me.

I desided to post a few full length pic of my self. The pic in the pink shirt is before surg. I was about 275, and the pic in the black shirt was taken the other day. I am down to 250. I wish I had some of the pic from when I was 301 so you could see a bigger difference. I will continue to post pic of my progress.
