I have been watching this site for a while and finally got round to logging in.
I have been working out for a year now, i use ellipticals, free weights, swim, do aqua aerobics and run.
I normally do an hour every day if not more, i only take a rest day when i really really have too.
I was loosing weight real well but i have hit a brick wall, infact i actually put 5lb in the last couple of weeks :-(
I dont drink but i still smoke.
I dont eat a great deal but still nothing is shifting and i am getting a little annoyed.....any ideas guys.
I have tried to attach two photos of me one is not very clear.
The one of me with my sister (I was wearing black and red) was taken three years ago. The other is me on xmas day just gone....i just cant get rid of the belly
Any clues?

Well the pics dont really show much but five years ago i took a size 22 (UK) and today i take a size 14 (UK).
Thats me today on the left...did i say that already. The black dress i had on was tight, but tried it on last night and it just looks stupid!!
I dont really eat properly though, and tend not to eat all day then pig out after work. I know this is wrong but i just cant help it. I drink loads of coffee during the day.
I still smoke and have tried to give up loads but worry about weight gain especially when i have come so far.
Like i say i just hit a brick wall. I do at least 7 hours of gym excercise a week but nothing is shifting and hasnt really moved for about two months....though i did drop another dress size.
What can i say, its just not easy :-(

I used to wear a lot of black and when i wore that dress i though it looked fab....until i saw the pictures. The thin one next to me in the first post is actually my sister!!
They say black is thinning but it does nothing for the mood if you wear it all the time. I noticed that i was actually bulging at the waist and clearly i was puffed up. At the time i was drinking very heavy ie every night. A year ago i gave up drinking full stop and havent touched a drop since, thats when i started going to the gym.
Initially i think the weight dropped off because i wasnt drinking so much and stopped being inactive. The puffy look went, and my tummy lost its bulge.
Today i have a waist which was a bit of a shock!!!
So now i wear different coloured clothes and i feel so much brighter, and happier with life in general.
Being big...for me....took away all my self esteem....but ITS BACK :-))))
