Margaret, I don't know how you do it. We walked or stood pretty constantly all day long yesterday, and didn't come close to your 30k! |

Rep Power: 85 | | | 23K+ is great going Phoebe!
I do get tired legs.
Also - you have to remember that I am not currently going to work - so can go on three walks a day.
I imagine that you are getting tired legs yourself on this holiday.
Wednesday was a less active day for me - hubby would not come out walking with me at night.

Rep Power: 0 | | | I did this spring of 2005. I lost weight. I did it for like 3 weeks. Then for some reason I stopped. I think it rained for like 3 days straight or something. That is my problem. The second something happens, my whole weight thing falls through. |

I have been doing this every day and it really is worth doing.
I force myself to go out walking in the rain - it is easier than facing the demons with the big question of what would happen if I stopped. |

Rep Power: 85 | | Phoebe - you are doing real well on that holiday.
Angel - you had a brilliant day there!
Lashful - dig out your pedometer - you know it makes sense and you know that you want to!
This posting includes my BAD day!!! Can you spot which day I couldnt go on my long walk and late at night was desperately pacing around the house to get my pedometer to a level that read "healthy"?

Rep Power: 6 | | Hey! Is this thread still alive? Can I revive it?
I was wearing a pedometer every day but in the last week or so I've slacked off. I want to get started again.
In November I challanged myself to do over 10,000 every day and I did.
So, I'd like to do that again. I'll shoot for 10,000 or more ever day till the new year, for now. Anyone else with me? |

Rep Power: 85 | | Hi This is the yr
It certainly is live. There are a number of us here and pedometer buddies. I walk excessively and did an average of 10.75 miles per day across the month of November - you can see my November postings for the month in pedometer buddies. Thursday (when I travelled on holiday all day) was the first day since early July when I did less than 10,000 steps - normally I try to average nearly 30,000 but I am doing less at the minute as I am away on holiday. It will be great to have you with us.
Pedometer reading:
Saturday 22/12/2007 25,167 steps, 9.53 miles
Sunday.. 23/12/2007 19,778 steps, 7.49 miles
