Rep Power: 7 | | mom2- Yeah... I'm trying to do my best not to lurk. And it's working so far. Yaay~
And in other news.
I stayed within my calories today. Think I had like, 1380, and I did about 40 minutes of DDR playing. I was spacing out to much, so I really didn't want to play the workout list a third time.
And I went shopping today.... I was thinking about looking for some sugar free snacks and stuff, but guess what? Once in the shop I just bought the things I had on my list, like 6 items or something, catfood and stuff, and I so totally forgot about the snacks. lol
I came to think of it after a few hours of being home. Seems like I wasn't supposed to buy snacks today. lol Got more protein powder though, because I kinda have to complement my food with it. I'm so bad att getting all the proteins. My friends think I'm strange though, because I actually don't mind the taste of it at all. Taste like chocolate shake... kinda.... It works though so it's all good.
Well that's my ranting for the day.
Hope you're all doing good.

Rep Power: 9 | | Hey guys.. I am doing ok so far.. It is 6:30 pm and I still have about 300 calories left. I am so sore from that class I went to at the gym last night but I still managed to go to cardio kickboxing this morning for an hour.
Hikari-I think I am going to pull DDR out this weekend!
Mom2- I know that under eating only worsens the problem but It hasn't been a drastic difference so I haven't been worried about it. Maybe I should double my veggie portions to make up for the few 100 calories I have been missing out on. I will try to fit in an extra snack tonight. |

Cristen-sounds like a plan to me, you have been hitting gym so so hard--good for you! I just want to make sure you get the results you deserve. Nice job on working through your soreness.
Hikari-I went through a phase after my first two years of college (gained freshman 15 --twice!) where I did herbalife and did protein shakes for two meals and I loved them as well. These days I am borderline diabetic and I have trouble with my blood sugar getting too low if I dont have long lasting protein with everything so I have a feeling our diets are complete opposite! If you ever want some protein tricks I know em all LOL.
Hi all. I did really well today, I went to the gym for 2.5hours (~800cal burn) I was behind on minutes for my other challenge and it felt really good! I expect a bit of soreness tomorrow. I may have an additional night snack but with the dinner I have planned I will be at 1813/1900 so that is good, if I have an additional snack it will be an 80cal jober so still good!
ps I use sparks to log my food and I cant find a nice way to copy and past it into my diary without it putting all the nutritional info too and it gets all wacky and impossible to read, if anyone has a suggestion let me know! Rest assured I am journaling though. |

Just stopping in. Busy, stressful day today. I was planning on getting an extra cardio workout this am, but was too tired . .but didnt sleep in too long. I did get up and knock out my 2nd strength training session this week. And after dinner, the girls, Finnegan and me took a 25 walk to RITA's. I did not get anything, tho.
Today was beautiful! in the low 70's. I will get up tomorrow for my 3rd cardio workout on the NT. I'll prob get some additiona exercise in this weekend because I'm helping my cousin move- they are calling for rain . . should be fun!
See yas tomorrow! Off to watch CSI and ER |

/sigh . . . I have never fit in a size less than double digits since I've been buying my own clothes. I doubt I ever will, to be honest. I think a size 10 is a realistic goal to shoot for, I'm currently in a 14.
A pretty good day today. I ate very little, but the calories stacked up- I'm thinking I over estimated/counted some of them:
breakfast=1/2 cup 1% milk, mini bagel 1 tbls peanut butter
lunch= small salad from Fuddruckers(lettuce, tom, almonds, grilled chick, a sprinking of bacon bits and cheese, less than a tbls of fat free dressing
desert=fat free gelati made with fat free/sugar free custard
dinner= small serving of baked french fries, 1/4 sloppy joe made with 93% lean beef on a small dinner roll
snack= 90 calorie bag of mini rice cakes
according to my calculations:
Recommended calories: 1388 Calories consumed: 1446 Calories remaining for today: -58
So the good news- Im in my range. I jsut dont feel like that salad was a 500 calorie salad. *shrug* |

Rep Power: 20 | | WEEK 2 CHALLENGE HAS BEEN POSTED in the original thread! Quote: Now that we have started out with being aware of our food intake, its time to emphasize moving and burning them calories!
In addition to your baseline 90 min of exercise per week, you we be awarded this week's bonus points by ADDING an additional 45 min of exercise during week 2. You can add it in anyway you like, (ei: in one workout session, over 2-3 sessions, or a little everyday) as long as you get an EXTRA 45 minutes in this week. This extra exercise need not be formal- it can be the extra steps taken because you park further from the office, or the extra exercise in taking the stairs instead of an elevator, or it can be an extra 15 min on the treadmill .. again, its up to you! As long as they all add up to 45 min, the points are yours. Give yourself +5 points for adding 45 minutes to your exercise this week. Give yourself +5 points for "build on" bonus of journaling your food intake. For a maximum of 10 bonus points this week | |

Rep Power: 20 | | Wow think I did ok! After spending most of the day helping a cousin move into his new house, I came home and journaled my food . . I'm within 58 calories!
Only one more day to go to weigh in. Have to be careful tomorrow- going to inlaws for birthday party . . I think I'll pass on the cake.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend! |

| So far it looks like : +5 points for exercise (min of 90min for the week met) +6 points for journaling (1 for each day not including today) +6 points for staying within the 100 caloric intake range (" " " " " " ")
thats 17 pts so far! gratz!
Tomorrow if you have a loss of .5lbs or more, you get another +5 points
And if you continued to journal and stay in calorie range on Sunday, +2 (one for each challenge).
The max points for week one are: 24 points |
