Rep Power: 45 | | Well I am friggin starving right now, but staying true to my diet grrrrrr. Still haven't had any forbidden types of carbs (bread, rice, pasta, candy, sugar) in 4 days now. Gosh I am hungry and feeling irritable! But there's nothing I can have. Wish I had an apple to eat with my almond butter . Hope everyone's well. |

I found the sesame butter to be similar in taste to peanut butter..my mom used to buy it, but now I can't find it. I came across almond butter at Costco, and they never have varieties to choose from, and when I looked at it's calorie amount it was a little bit higher than the Peanut Butter Costco had at the time...Is it lower in fat? and just as good for you? Because I would also really like to change up my taste buds.
Thanks! |

It makes me grumpy too....that could be why im a happy fat person..lol. Just kidding.. (kinda) Does drinking water or having a cup of tea help at all? Is there any way you could maybe eat more often...(same amount of food broken up) so that there is less time in between. I apologize, I really need to read back and see what kind of a diet you are on before making suggestions.

I am starting to get to the point where some of my cravings are getting a bit less. I did have that bun tonight and the chips... but...I am managing to keep it out of most of my meals.
Though, I haven't given up rice or potatoes... im just limiting them to once per day... I need to get better at tricking myself into feeling satisfied more...lol *where the hell is my magic satisfaction pill damn it!* |

Rep Power: 45 | | Chiming in my F up! I was so damn hungry last night but had nothing in the house that fits with my diet, so I ended up eating a small bowl of organic cereal and GASP a tiny Hostess cake at about 40 calories. HOWEVER, I did NOT eat all 3 of the little Hostess cakes that came in the package and I didn't get seconds on the cereal. So that is all pretty surprising and shows that cutting the sugars out does help the cravings to an extent. Will keep this up as long as possible. |

Rep Power: 19 | | Awww, I come in here, and get just the warm fuzzy huggy feeling I needed!
So ladies (gents?), I feel really low. And I feel guilty for letting myself get this bad with regards to taking care of myself. I am comfort eating fully consciously and not caring... until after...
I will not give up though, as I DO believe that this CAN NOT always be such a struggle. I mean, I've LIVED THROUGH TIMES when I was really healthy and happy, and it was not that hard to keep the momentum going, but getting started after snowballing in the wrong direction again for a few months... errr.
I want to run again. I NEED to run again. I just want to curl up in bed and sleep my days away though. A little depression, maybe? (I am on anti-depressants). Anyway, just needed to confess/ unload/ rant/ self-pity a little
I'm glad you are all here so we can support eachother |
