Sounds good Brazenly . Here's what I had today, a sort of disgusting array of veggies for my healthier diet:

*8 grain bagel w/ butter
*watermelon, salad (lettuce, tomatoe, cucumber, peppers, avocado; no dressing)
*shake: watermelon, lemon, apple, wheatgrass
*homemade (grossish) veggie drink: cherry tomatoes, spinach, water in blender
*1 oz steak, 1/2 avocado, 2 teaspoons rice
*almonds, seeds
*crackers w/ spinach feta cheese dip

Thanks Rell . I'm also grossing out on junk food right now. I'm sure this crazyness will pass but I've been feeling good on this stuff. Just got back from the other market and found some coconut milk which I just drank and it is DELISH! Tastes just like regular milk actually, but nice and thick for my tea, and I'm trying to eliminate animal protein right now to supposedly give the liver a break so it can burn fat better yada yada. Can't hurt to try as I've certainly tried just about everything else! I also got more yummy almond milk and a bunch of veggies and meats for the family, I'll limit it to a small piece of meat at dinner. I really think Omega is on to something with her diet, which seems to just include a bit of meat at night.

So today I was back to my new low of 145 lbs! I am just hoping to see 144 lbs, this would show me that the plateau is waning??

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!! I cannot believe I lost MORE weight!! I hit 144.5 lbs! I haven't seen that weight NO MATTER WHAT I DID since last October or so. This weight is FINALLY moving, though its hard to say what's moving it since I'm trying so many new things all at once. Though I had a very low calorie day yesterday (just guessing since I didn't count), I've had MANY low calorie days like that (but with different foods, usually high protein/high fat) to no avail. I am so hopeful now and it motivates me to know that my efforts MAY be rewarded. Sure got me hopping on my elliptical last night! Here's what I had:

*8 grain bagel w/ butter
*green salad w/ quarter avocado; fruit salad; carrot juice
*shake: pint cherry tomatoes, 1 cucumber in blender
*coconut milk
*crackers w/ spinach feta spread
*1 slice rye bread w/ spinach feta spread
*almond milk, almonds

I tried adding some meat to my salad but weirdly, I avoided it.

Hope everyone's having a great diet day and doing well on reaching your goals.

Yay for YOU Blancita!!!!!!!

That's great that finally the weight is moving... being kicked out, exhiled to another part of the world.... whatever the case may be.... Yay! I feel like im starting to get my self more focused, even though ive had a few things this week that were not the best, I still am making the majority of my day a healthy one.

I know my biggest trip up is planning. I have such a weird schedule (days and afternoons) and then a second job and my so my hours are all over the place. If I don't plan, then I will make really poor choices.

My goal for this week/weekend is to start making optimal choices for myself, even if I have to eat out. No more of this..."OH well, im out anyways, may as well have the burger and fries" If those are the ONLY choices, well.... no fries, I am not hungry after the burger and water instead of pop.

I wont be doing aqua fit this weekend since all the moving of the group home and then will be moving a friend on friday.... I am really sore all over. Dan and I will be starting again possibly this Monday but for sure on tuesday.

Those are great plans Brazzenly . Its just impossible to do this without pre-planning..otherwise we end up eating too much junk, even if not too many calories, and I believe that has hampered my weight loss.

Food for today:

*4 slices rye bread w/ butter
*shake: papaya, pineapple, watermelon
*3 oz grilled chicken; 1/2 avocado
*watermelon, almonds, almond milk
*green tea w/ coconut milk
*3 oz grilled chicken w/ lime, yellow rice
*crackers w/ spinach feta dip
*2 bites vanilla ice cream

Another awesome food day if I do say so myself. I went shopping this evening at the fresh gourmet market and re-upped on all the foods I've been eating this week, plus I splurged on some smoked salmon for breakfast tomorrow.
