Rep Power: 0 | | Congrats! Just think of it as one pound closer to your goal and not the negative side. You'll get it next week! |

Rep Power: 0 | | I am going to try and lose 2 lbs this week.
That way I know I will lose 1 lb! LOL!
Already my clothes are a bit looser.
I still have a closet full of clothes too tight to get into.
By the end of summer I hope to get into all of them.
I try them on at the end of each week as an incentive.
Once I get into them all the clothes I'm wearing now will all go to the church thrift store.
And there are a few outfits I will regret giving away, cuz I happen to like them.
But I am sure my friends will like seeing me in a smaller size.
And I do have some great outfits in there also.
Best of luck to all of you this week.
If we all keep exercizing and counting those calories we will soon be thin, thin, thinner! |

Rep Power: 0 | | WOW! I tried to lose 2 lbs, just so I would lose one pound.
And I actually lost 2 lbs.
Best of luck to all of you this coming week.
I will check back with everyone next Monday! I know God will not give me anything I can't handle.
I just wish He didn't trust me so much.

Rep Power: 0 | | | Awesome job Bingo! I only lost a 1/2 lb this week. I have found that my major downfall is eating at social events or dinners. Even if I'm not hungry I feel like I have to eat because otherwise people start asking all kinds of crazy questions. The worst part is is that there isnt really anything healthy on the menus where we go, not even salad....what to do. I guess I'll start taking food with me. Seems like the only likely way for me to eat healthy. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | feel free to still join, we all just started last week. Go ahead and introduce yourself. We each set some goals up on here as far as eating and working out so that we would keep ourselves accountable. |

Originally Posted by Ella83 I have found that my major downfall is eating at social events or dinners. Even if I'm not hungry I feel like I have to eat because otherwise people start asking all kinds of crazy questions. | I had a circle of friends that met for dinner 2-3 times per week.
I could not keep down the weight.
So then I met up with them only once a week.
That helped a little.
Now I seldom call any of them. And when I do, they always want to meet for dinner.
So now I meet up with them only once every other month.
And I eat exactly half of everything and take the rest home in a box.
They know I have a weight problem and always insist I order dessert, which I no longer do.
One friend would call me 2 or 3 times a week to meet for breakfast.
Some of those breakfasts are way over 600 calories!
My breakfast at home is only 200 calories.
Finally I told her that with the cost of gasoline, I could no longer afford to eat out as often.
That was the best thing I could do, cuz I have lost 5 lbs now in the last 2 months.
So cut way down on the dinner dates. It will sure add to your weight loss.
It is working for me.
But I do miss seeing them as often. But I like seeing a skinnier me too.
(And the money I am saving on restaurant bills I can now spend on smaller size clothes!) Don't dig your grave with your own knife and fork.

Rep Power: 0 | | Me bad!...Me evil!...Me soooooooooooooooooooo disappointed. I am 205.6 up from 201.4 (I think that's what it was). Anyways...up 4 pounds!!!!!!!!!
Breakfast:
1 bowl of museli cereal with skim milk and coffee.
Then I weighed in when I got to work.
Lunch 1 sesame seed bagel with honey mustard and tuna, plus peanuts, and water.
I managed to get 3 1-L bottles of water into me at work.
Supper: homemade spaghetti.
So, tomorrow morning, I'm getting up 30 minutes earlier and going for a walk before I do anything else. I will by August 31st, have 8 pounds gone...I PROMISE!!!!
Glad to hear everyone has lost some this past week. Keep it up guys!! |

Rep Power: 31 | | Bingo I know what you mean....everyone always expects the fat guy (girl) to get dessert. It's kindof annoying...no it's really annoying. They don't realize that their expectations make us want to fit into their little mold. Ugh.
Anyway. Bingo, have you tried inviting your friends to your house for dinner...this way you can control the menu! |

Rep Power: 0 | | oh shoot, i have not been getting any email reminders when someone does a post here. Normally if anyone posted here, i would know via email and so i could come and join the group and reply. Lately i havent been getting any emails and i thought no one was posting. today i came in to put my updated weight and how i feel abt it when i saw so many postings.
Anyways, ppl i lost 2 pounds!! i was so happy at first but then the next day i saw it fluctuate back to the original and it keeps on doing that...... either my scale needs fixing or its my thyroid kicking in.... i got my blood test done just in case to see if my medication needs updating.
anyways, i have lost 2 pounds but it looks like ages....2 weeks of intense labour!!! walking 35 mins, low carb diet( no pasta, rice and stuff) and no lunch has just given me 2 pounds off which is also on an unknown scale. anyways i am glad atleast something is there to be happy about. i hope it goes down quick.
Hey ladies, for flat absm try hoolla hoop- even if u dont know how to use it , try to wriggle it around ur waist and after some time ull become a pro at it. even wriggling it around will lose inches fast on waist and stomach area.
its worth it for only 1 dollar for a hoolaa hoop....
try it, it works!!!
anyways i am soooooooo happy to update my ticker and i hope it goes to 4 pounds more next week. see u soon guys and hey welcome to the group, Viscar
