Rep Power: 7 | | | For Everyone in the 140's! Hi everybody!
I am starting this thread because I enjoyed the 150's club...and now...YAY, I'm in the 140's (most of the time!).
Come on in and share your successes and worries.
We can all do it if we eat healthily and exercise one day at a time!
Cheryl

Rep Power: 7 | | | Another week. Hi again.
I'm back from a party weekend with lots of food. I really tried to be careful, but I did eat many things I wouldn't normally go for...bacon, cake, ice cream...I'm glad I didn't gain any extra weight. It shows me that if I think about what I'm eating, I can make better choices than I would have a few months ago.
Here I am taking on another week! A good one to you, too!
Cheryl

Rep Power: 0 | | Hello My name is Kami. Im so glade I found a club where evryone is where im at the 140's. I'm 145 i hate it.
Today Im starting tae bo.It says you can burn 800cal. an hour. Im so excited. I was walking but just found out you can only burn 45 cal. so Im done with that. I guess we will find out if it works for me or not. i hope I can see a difference in a week that would boost me up a little more than i am now. well I think I have talked too much on this post. kami |

It's great that you are doing Tae Bo! I'd be sure to end up in the hospital if I tried that at this point!!
I'm only walking around the block with my older dad at a senior shuffle speed and gardening. I had back surgery about 2 years ago, and I have been really slow to take on exercise, even though I know it would help me.
I am getting stronger...maybe I'll get to the tae bo class some day!
I hate being in the 140's also, but it's better than the 150's!! I finally broke through that barrier.
Everybody eat healthily and drink your water today!!
Have a great weekend!
Cheryl

Rep Power: 0 | | | Well as ou know I started tae Bo and I was or rather trying to do advanced. I think I might have pulled a muscle in my back. It doesn't hurt but I can tell I did something to it.
So note to self You wont lose all the weight in one workout so move at a steady past and don't break anything. |

Rep Power: 4316 | | pink---you should decide what to do with your body. If you are happy at 188 pounds than stop losing....if you want to lose a little more, than go for it!

Rep Power: 1579 | | 144-194 is the range one height/weight calculator says a 6'2" tall person can fall in. So 188 is more the top end of your range. Like Kaitie says, it's what you feel comfortable with. I'm 5'9" and weight 151. At this weight, I can look decent in clothes. People often tell me "you don't need to lose weight" but they don't see me with clothes off. lol
I hear a lot of people say they are disgusted with their weight.
Hint for the day...don't hate where you are at...it makes it harder to get to where you're going. Hating my body is never motivating for me. Positive stuff is. I mean right now I've got flabby and flappy belly rolls from losing weight and I look at it and think, "wow, you're a whole lotta lotta!" But it will disappear with consistent habits.
Be proud sisters! |

Rep Power: 5 | | I'm actually a man :s But yeah, I look ok with clothes on, but a bit too much around my belly Thinking of just packing on some muscle for 10weeks then getting rid of the rest though.
I can't imagine being down at 140lbs at this height, I really would think that was underweight, I can lose maybe 10lbs more before I'd be pushing it I think... |

Rep Power: 1579 | | | Ahso! My apologies for assuming. Being male makes a huge difference. Then 188 is probably just a matter of 10 pounds, you're right. lol Good on ya! |

Rep Power: 5 | | I'm hoping to spend a week with a girl in about 5 weeks though, might drop the last lot ...
Anyone know if it would be better to put on a bit more fat, then lose it slower to help against loose skin ? I think it's loose slightly anyways ...
Oh choices
My BMI is actually where you started at 2Skinny :s But I guess men don't care so much | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
