Checkin' in

Hi Everyone!
Welcome to you, Slimby!!
Well...I've kind of fallen off the weight loss wagon.
Luckily I have been somewhat careful, but I haven't been keeping track of calories, and that really makes a difference.
I'm still fluxtuating between 146.5 and 148. Hey, but I started out 10 lbs. heavier, so that's better than it was!

Do any of you keep track of your cholesterol? I had a mini test (finger prick) test done last week. It's down some but still high. I was 279, then 259, and now 230. I'm doing something right!

Keep it up y'all! Coming out here and seeing you still working away at being healthier helps me want to try again!
Hugs,
Cheryl

Hey there,

I'll join ya. I've been at 136 for about a month... my goal is 130-125 (constantly in review - I'm fairly happy where I am now having started in the 150s.)

hi all and well done to those leaving to start the 130`s . i weighed in at 142.6 today, so hopefully in a couple of weeks i`ll be joining you.
ive been very stressed this week. firstly think i may have gallstones due to my weight loss and was ill with it last monday/tuesday. then i am stressing cos i am very short of money due to being owed some/income change and underpayment. i am waiting for 2 fairly large cheques, but until they come i am scraping the bottom of the barrel. so for me stress = i eat.
on a positive note i managed to lose nearly 4 lbs this week (despite a couple of days spent with my nose in the biscuit tin) way over my average weekly loss.slim

Too bad...

Sorry about your financial situation, Slimby. It's crazy how horrible being a dollar (pound ?) short of enough is, compared to how comfortable having one over is.
Congrats on your Great Loss!! Absolutely terrific!
I'm so stuck, but it's my own fault. Oh well...I'm holding.
Cheryl

oh i am so stressed. thanks cool cat. sorted out 1 underpayment but am bashing my head against a brick wall with the other. i asked for the money, they wrote today, saying they have given me a reduction in my payments for the rest of the year. tried to ring, but keep getting palmed off. so i am going down to the council in the morning and im not leaving till i get my money. a 1 women sit in!
any way as a result i started eating the hobnob biscuits - must have been about 8 or 9. not good for my weightloss or gallstones
needed to vent sorry,im going to work tonight cant stress out there.slim

Not sure how long I'll be here (hopefully not long), but I'd like to hang out while I am in the 140's. I hate the whole fluct. weight thing!!! One day I will weigh myself and be 140.3 then the next I'm at 146, then back down to 142. It's driving me CRAZY. I feel like if I could break that 140 barrier, I would be able to fly through the 130's and break into the 120's. It's addictive, this whole weightloss thing.... The more I loose, the more I want to lose, and faster, too. Anyway, I'm here until I break the barrier!

Hey, Hi!

Welcome Y'all!
Here I still am at 147.5 this morning. It's been about 2 months now. The exciting thing for me this week is that my family is all OUT OF TOWN!! I'm hoping to get through the 145 barrier. They left brownies, chocolates, and cream puffs that wouldn't fit into the truck. Yesterday I ate a bunch, but today I gave them away to my mom.
I went to the store and bought a cooked Turkey breast, and that will be my protein for a few days.
It's warm out, and I'm not going outside as much just now. I've got to get weeding and watering. That helps with exercise!!
Have a good one everybody!
Drink your water!
Eat a fruit and a vegetable!!

Cheryl

Maybe by Friday I can join that 130's club, but not today.

Anybody have any advise for the fluctuating scales. I have been all over the place this week. 140 on last friday, 146 this morning. I don't get it. I am drinking the water, not eating too many calories. well, actually, I have no clue how many calories I am eating a day. I am eating a Lean Cuisine for lunch (200-400 calories depending) and then dinner. Dinner is usually pasta with chicken. I need side dish ideas that don't involve so many carbs.

Any help would be great!

my scale this morning officially landed on 139.2, but I think I will hang out here a little while longer. At least until it says under 140 for more than 1 day.
