Rep Power: 0 | | | What time? What time of the day should I be lifting weights? I usually try to do it at 8 o clock every other night, but recently i find that i don't have any energy to do it, and i really just don't feel like doing it.
I usually jog every day around 12 or 1.
What time should i lift? Does it make a difference at what time you lift at?
Thanks in advance. |

Rep Power: 0 | | I hope someone can help you with your question. I usually do my treadmill at night too, and often times find I'm running out of steam. I don't know your schedule as far as work or school goes (which ever applies to you) but maybe if you could squeeze it in earlier?
Hope you get it all worked out. I know how frustrating it is to know you NEED to but you don't WANT to... LOL

Rep Power: 0 | | Well i try and space out my weight lifting from cardio by about 8 hrs, since im cutting and do cardio5-6xs a week i lift in the am and cardio is a night. they say if you space em to close together it affects muscle gain (by how much it really does im not sure lol) i think if you could get it in earlier it would be fine. better to have em closer together than to skip a work out, you can never make up a missed work out

Rep Power: 10 | | | time is not important, but weights should be done on days where you aren't running. As Smiley (once again) pointed out, they interfere with each other. I like doing weights and running first thing in the morning ... weights give me energy for the day and cardio burns fat better.
As cardio also burns protein (which is used in muscle development), it will reduce your bodies ability to recover and continue to 'grow'. |
