Mik - you will be pleased that you did the planting instead of walking when the flowers come out. We normally plant vegetables - but I must admit that I neglected our vegetables a bit last summer (I only watered them once a day in the dry weather instead of twice) as I was too busy walking. I have told my husband that we are planting less vegetables this year.
I do walk quite a lot. I find that I need to in order to get a normal rate of
weight loss. I am lucky in that I am not currently working so I am able to spend quite a long time walking every day. I found it quite surprising how far I could walk by just building my distance up a bit at a time.
