a meal is whatever you happen to be eating -i t should be a combination of carbs/protein/fats and within your daily calorie range for the day.

I'm not a fan of the five "meal" a day approach, my schedule just doesnt allow for it... I have 3 normal meals a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner, then add in a morning snack, afternoon snack and dinner snack and wth some pre planning can keep it at about 2200 calories for the day

Snacks for me might be fruit, or goat cheese and whole grain crackers, a high fiber tortilla w/ hummus and vegetables, a yogurt - it depends on my mood but it's generally in the 150 calorie range.

Motivation is not something you find or lose, have or don't have. It is the product of how you see yourself in the world: active or passive, effective or ineffective, powerful or victimized, normal or pathological.

Minden is on a distinguished road
I try to make my meals fairly balanced with protien and carbs, and fairly low fat.

Examples

3 eggs (only 1 yolk), 2 pieces of low carb bread

chicken breast with a salad (oil and vinegar)

Sardines on toast with a tomato slices

fish for dinner with sweet potato and salad

low fat cottage cheese with some greens

big salad with avacodo and some egg whites

Turkey breast sandwich (real turkey cooked and cut thin)

woah i dont thnk i could eat that much if i tried!!

time wise im open to eating smaller meals, i cant get a job at the moment so have the time to prepare the food. but its just finding the right things to eat - all of the info online about this is designed for meat and dairy eaters. the presumpton is theres no such thing as a fat vegan. but theres me! so got a bit of working out to do still on how this works!! although it sounds like it would work for me. would give me less time to think about food and more time actually preparing and doing it. although it will be hard, i prefer to eat two meals with no snacks. my biggest meal is lunch usaully about 2 o clock. then dinner at about 8 or 9 which is quite small.
