I am not the best person in the world to answer this question - but didnt want to leave it unanswered.
It is a difficult question to answer for me. I havent worn jeans in over twenty years and I dont think that I will until I feel that it is a size that I would want to wear.....
I wear UK clothes too so the sizes are totally different as well.
When I was young I was perfectly happy wearing UK size 12 jeans and would probably feel ok in UK size 14.
On top of that - losing weight has revealed a rather large bulge at the centre front of my waist that is currently being investigated by the doctors. This totally destroys my waist - in much the same way as happens to pregnant ladies. I suspect that it is a hernia - but am awaiting word from the doctors.
If I wear clothes with a waistband - I need UK size 16 and it is a bit tight. I am currently wearing UK size 14 trousers with an elasticated waist which are a bit loose - and have just bought some UK size 12 tracksuit bottoms which naturally have an elasticated waist and fit just fine.
The bulge has a bigger impact on my waist than my remaining fat.
Thank you for answering my questions. I am sorry to hear about your medical problem I hope the doctors will be able to provide you with a concrete diagnosis and take really good care of you. This must be a very stressful time for you ::hug::

Thanks Hilda. The really good thing is that if I hadnt lost this much weight I would have never known about the bulge. I had such a lot of fat that it was all covered up.
I will be in and out of this club and the 140s over the next few days. I weigh every day and this morning my weight was 10st 9.8lbs which is 149.8 pounds.
I think I was premature in joining the 140s club last week. I am new to this forum, but my weight fluxes between 148 and 151. I honestly dont have a certain weight I want to be I am more worried about what I look like and how I feel.... but I wont lie seeing the number dwindle is nice... Anyway, just wanted to say hello!
156 today =p not to much weight loss hope to be at 153 by the end of the week ,hopefully lol. camping sent me off track, and hanging out with my friends makes it hard to lose weight when they eat everything i love plus 3000 caloires more in a single setting lol. damn teenage boys, they just DONT get fat >.<
Well hello there. 8D This club seems to be a bit inactive, so I shall revive it. Whoot! I'm currently 153 (At 5'7" ), so hopefully I won't be here long.
