Rep Power: 0 | | | Here I am. Hey everybody,
I think this is the kind of club that everyone would rather not be a member of. But anyway here I am. 321 pounds this morning. Definitely a member of the club.
Let look forward to joining the 200+ club together sometime soon.
Good luck everyone. |

I am a member of this club for now anyway...no offence but I can’t wait to get out of it. I weighed in at 313 pounds today (on one of the needle scales – not sure of accuracy on it). I am hoping to get down to at least 200 pounds then possibly bulk up (weightlifting) then lose again. I posted in the newbie section with some info too, I don’t really want to copy and paste what that says…
I’ve been looking at the forum for a few days and decided I should give it a try, there is quite a difference in just reading and being able to interact with people IMO.
I remember reading that someone in here worked for IT…I share that in common with you as well. I am Tech support for the city that I live in which luckily means that I get to carry PCs around quite often which gives me a chance to lose some extra Cals…anyway, anyone have any questions to ask or anything like that just reply…
Oh, also I am a vegetarian so if anyone has some good (low fat) vegetarian recipes they want to share that’d be great! |

Rep Power: 0 | | Checking in for the week. First of all welcome to the new members, great site to just come and vent, because no one really knows what it's like unless they have been the weight that we currently are. Good Luck to you guys.
I had a pretty good week. I was down 4.4 pounds, which I was extremely happy about. I have been doing the 2 pound a week challenges on this site and I am always happy when I can report that I was down 2 + pounds for the week.
I hope everyone is having a good week. Also perhaps if someone should have the answer to my following question: I have been doing a 30 minute circuit training and anywhere between 1 and 1 1/2 hours of cardio at the gym. I do not do any ab work because I feel I need to lose more fat before it will make a difference with my abs. So my question is, do you think it is necessary to do ab work to help burn fat on my stomach? Comments are appreciated. |

Rep Power: 7 | | I've been doing the 2 week challenge as well and have been failing at it. I haven't given up though...I know I will fail it but I'm still going to try and lose at least those two pounds in the last little bit of it. I have also joined that presidents challenge thing too. Dunno if you guys want to check it out but it's pretty cool. I'm not at 309 which I'm a little upset about as the first few pounds few off but it's my fault. The way I've been eating and I haven't been doing all that much exercises. That has changed though, time to rock this like a hurricane. |

Rep Power: 7 | | | Welcome to the club these_days. Like you I hope to be out of here soon.
I have a quote for you guys, dunno what you'll think of it but meh:
Cause sometimes you just feel tired. You feel weak. And when you feel weak, you feel like you wanna just give up. But you gotta search within you, try ta find that inner strength and just pull that "crap" out of you, and get that motivation to not give up, and not be a quitter, no matter how bad you wanna just fall flat on your face and collapse.
I had to clean up one of the words but yeah. |

Rep Power: 7 | | Thanks. I will admit that it really wasn't that hard. I know it's because it is the first pounds to lose but I have lost over 50 pounds in less than a year. Becoming a vegetarian is what got me started, and what really made me want to start losing though I haven't been as hardcore about it as I would like to be. I have a little competition with a friend of mine, which works out great because we usually go out to lunch together like...everyday during he week. Good luck everyone! |

Rep Power: 0 | | Well down 4.2 pounds this week, of course it's been a while since I have posted here due to the fact that I have not really been losing any weight. Been doing the yo-yo dance for the last 2 months. Hopefully the start of Spring/Summer will bring some good change. Well good luck to everyone and I will be trying to check in every week from now on. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | 5-1-08 Well I had another good week. I was down 4.6 pounds this week and happy about that. I just hope I can keep up at least 2 pounds a week till June 5th, that way I will be at 175 down by the time I go home to California for vacation. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
