Rep Power: 12 | | hey sammeh, welcome too! we're all in the same boat trying to support each other.
you guys can explore the forum too, there's the diary section which is quite good so that you can start being accountable and write down your daily food/exercise or just vent etc and people will encourage yuo and you can encourage them too in their diaries. there's clubs, challenges, before/after pics and a whole other bunch of motivational stuff.
it's a long road but we take things one day at a time. all the best you both and to everyone else as well xoxo Quote:

Rep Power: 0 | | 1 more pound to go, I am just sitting at 300 pounds. May was a very challenging month for me. Old eating habits tried to sneak back and I was able to, for the most part, make the right choices. My working out suffered though, I only worked out about half of what I intended to . I still lost weight but was no where near my goal. New goal is to be 290 by the end of June. I just want to step on that scale and see a 2 instead of a 3. That is a big thing in my mind and has reinvigorated me now that I am so close. |

Rep Power: 0 | | Well, I'm outta here. Getting under 300 pounds was my first real goal. It was so awesome to step on that scale and see a 2 as the first number. It has been close to 6 years since I was sub 300. I will still check in but hope to never be a "card" carrying member of this club again. I know I will see each and every one of you in the 200 pound club. |

i'm so happy for you! i know it sounds silly but being in the 300club kindof feels like this really dry field whereas the 200club is where the grass is all lush and green....and i'm just sitting and daydreaming on the fence longing for the day i jumpover to where the grass is greener.....hmmmmm, a girl can dream.
hope everyones doing great xoxo Quote:

Rep Power: 12 | | i have a question for the 300+ club members, or anyone who reads this really.
now, after reading loads of diaries on here and posts, i'm noticing that people seem to loose ALOT of inches from the waist quite quickly. now in my case i've lost almost 35pounds (from 350 down to 317), and wondering if it's comon to have only lost 1.5inches from my waist. i guess it means that the 35pounds off came off a little from different parts of the body....i guess i'm just wondering am i being too impatient expecting to have lost abit more from the waist? |

Rep Power: 0 | | Well, I have appeared again. Believe this is the 3rd time I've come back to the forum. But at least this time I'm coming back a bit lighter than when I left. I am currently 310 pounds, last time I was on the site I weighed 321 but my weight is stuck and this is usually where I start to go down hill so I'm hoping I can avoid gaining back weight, any advice or stories of how you got over your plateaus would be appreciated.
~Thanks |

But with every bit u lose u are that much closer. Keep at it |

~Thanks | My advice would be to accuratly count calories for a while. If you count and weigh everything and you create a deficit u will lose weight. Food choices and estimating intake only goes so far |
