I am glad that I found others who realize that losing weight is easier when you have support. How does this all work?? Do I check in daily?? weekly?? Weigh in weekly?? bi-weekly?? Thanks in advance.

Hey Chocolatemama,

Welcome. I am a newbie too. I started about a week ago. This forum has been great. I will let the people who have been here longer explain thing more. I check in at least once a day but sometimes more, sometimes less. It all depends on your time available and how much support you may need that day. Fell free to post as much as you want. I have found a lot of support already. Good luck

Sandy

Hi there! Welcome to our forum!

To answere your questions, Sandy had it right, it just depends on how much time you have to post. I check in several times a day, and others only check in once a day. Most of us keep a diary that we post in everyday what we ate, or how we feel, ect. Its a nice feature to have!

So why dont' you tell us about yourself? How much weight do you want to loose? What type of diet are you on? ect

Thanks

Thank you for responding.
I want to lose 45 lbs and I like the high protein/ low carb diet but my weakness for chocolate makes it hard. I have an 18 month old daughter and during pregnancy I gained 60 lbs. I can't believe how hard it has been to lose the weight. I used to run/jog 3-5 miles at a time as a workout before I had my daughter but now I feel this extra weight is keeping from getting out to run again. So, my goal is to get out and jog at least twice this week. I have to really push myself and maybe you guys can push me too.
Is anyone else on a low carb/ high protein diet, if so, do you have any good ideas/recipes?
Thanks again
