Rep Power: 0 | | | What grosses you out now? I've noticed that since I've been eating healthy some of the things I used to chow down on aren't appealing anymore. Is there any food that you used to eat that you won't touch now? For me I started to notice all of the excess grease that's on delivery pizza that I never noticed before or just didn't care. Actually the sight of excess oil or grease on anything bothers me now. I haven't fried or deep fried anything since I start eating right. I guess it's the thought of my body absorbing all of that fat. Yuck! |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Even 1% milk seems like cream to me now... I'll stick with skim, and then only if I'm eating something that goes with it like pasta or peanutbutter sandwiches. I can't stand McDonald's burgers anymore, and I used to love them. "Real" burgers, cooked with fire, are okay, but I can't stand any of the ones cooked on a stove.
Just in general, I'm satisfied with smaller portions of food that I used to eat tons of, like ice cream. After a while, it just gets to be too much. |

Rep Power: 0 | | i definately agree about portion sizes being what grosses me out... when I go to a restaurant now - I have to push half the food to one side and just know that it will be the leftovers, b/c eating all of that food would make me sick!!!
I haven't found anything that really grosses me out - but I have always been one to like healthy food better... grease and fat of course are gross, but they always grossed me out... I can say however that I have not had Pizza Hut Pizza in like a year - and it in no way appeals to me - that stuff has puddles of grease!!! |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Hot pockets! I used to eat so many of them in college...ham and cheese was always my favorite. I can't even imagine buying one now--the really orange cheese and suspiciously pink ham...yuck!
I could still go for an acual ham and cheese sandwich, though...guess some tastes never change! |

Rep Power: 0 | | I'm with ya sister. I can't even stand the sight of grease. Another thing is sugar. Since I cut out all sweets, sugar does not appeal to me anymore. I even have had to cut in half what I put in my ice tea at home. Weird how your taste buds change with your diet. |

Rep Power: 4 | | O_O what is wrong with me?
I still like sugar, I still like donuts, chocolate, diet sodas, popcorn, ice-cream, nachos, crisps, pancakes, syrup, pizza yada yada yada... I just had a milky way =3
Actually I like those MORE when i diet. Before starting to lose weight, I would eat normally, a LOT but quite healthily.
^^; I do avoid excess oil/fat when it's mopping on the plate but that's just cuz it looks wrong. Not to mention milk, but that's due to my lactose intolerance.
As to portion size, I think compared to the US, they are smaller anyway so it's rare to end up extremely over-eating when you go out. sure you eat a lot but not excessively.
LOL. help, make me like veggies please! | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
