I am a coach/dooney freak - of course I do not have the income to support such a habit but I try to save and get them when I can, which is not real often
But, I need to do something for breaking the 200 lb mark so I may be treating myself...
I am so proud of everyone and how hard you are all working!!! wahoo, we are going to have to rename this thread pretty soon

WOW...you must feel like a new person already. Congratulations on your success, that is amazing! totally amazing. errr about the diary, I didn't start one yet either, I've been flirting around with the idea...but have not convinced myself to do it yet.
Welcome MzScorp...I totally love your avi!! Cool goals you have set for yourself. My goal for this year is also to get to 199, Last time I weighed i was 273...I am going to weigh on friday and i have a strong feeling i will be 278 or even 289 my belly is looking like i stuffed it with cotton. Because I am not losing weight as fast as I expected, I don't know if I can hit 199 by the end of the year, but I'm going to try my best and still keep it as my short term goal no matter how long it will take me to get there here's to 199
Glad to hear your ankle is feeling better Nataliejo mine started hurting me today.. I think its psychosomatic just a reason for me to use that foot thing! I love Bath and Body works!! My favorite scent there is sweet pea. I also like warm vanilla sugar and....peony is okay, but not one of my faves.
Which reminds me ladies.......I do not know how i forgot this when I was talking about Lane Bryant, but Macy's also has some pretty good "Womens" sized clothing. I tend to head straight for the clearance rack no matter what store I go to and I have gotten some very nice things in Macy's at dirt cheap prices...cheaper than Layne Bryant!! You can also call them and ask when they're having their next sale. Well maybe you do not mind spending more, but I have a $65 cut off rule I will buy NO article of clothing for that amount or greater unless it is a pair of shoes...Which DSW has been treating me pretty well where thats concerned (again clearance rack...I got some beautiful steve madden shoes there for $7.00 and they used to cost $75!! no irregularities or anything). Sure it may take a bit more searching, and you have to make up your mind that you will not compromise quality in the least...but you will find the most gorgeous things that are easy on the pocket. I bought three outfits at Layne Bryant yesterday for $165.00 and last year I bought 9 articles of clothing at Macys for $120.00. I just realise how much I have talked about shopping. I am trying to think of an acceptable excuse, but although I love fashion, I do not buy clothes for myself that often and I am trying to change that this year. I always think thatI will wait until I lose weight to buy clothes, but I figure I need to be hot at all times so i better start now.
Hi Ali! The beautiful thing about dooney...(I cannot speak for coach although I am sure it is the same, but I have never owned one) they may be a little pricey, but they are well worth it. And because of the quality, you do not have to buy so many. The purse I carried today was one that I bought three years ago and every time I wear it, people think its new. I remember when I first got it, a coworker and I went to a restaurant and the waitress spilled coke on my purse. She and I both freaked out, because the purse is cloth, but I tell you no lie...the soda beaded up and rolled off!! We were both shocked. I guess that's why the dooney logo is a duck lol. Anyways I used to try the cheap route with purses, and I bought some cute ones from payless and oh the pleather...it was stripping and the handle came loose from the purse lol I wish they had some outlets in New Jersey. But I do not buy so many I just get what i really like and they last so long.
Okay well I think I have shown my addiction in this post LOLOLOL OMG I cannot imagine what I will be like when i am finally slim and all of the stores are open for me :-) Ahhhh....To finally be able to buy the things I have always wanted!! Kevi how have you been? How has running been with your new running buddy? ;-)
Take care everyone...I think I will try to find a shop-a-holics site after this post (just kidding)
Oh and for all who do not know already, my real name is Ginger, but I do not mind if you call me Pink,Clouds, Ginger, Pink Clouds or whatever...really nice having all of you here

Rep Power: 0 | | | Hey Ginger, yes I already feel like a different person, I have just so much more self confidence and a better body image about myself, it's kind of funny I've almost forget how I use to feel about my self. but I still have a long long way to go, and this will be a life long commitment, I started by walking every day, and now hit the gym 5-6 times a week, and count my calories about 1200 a day, I hit a plateau the last six weeks, and didn't lose anything but I am back on the ball again,
way to go, you have already lost 14 pounds in two months, I'm sure you get to your goal by the end of the year, my goal is to be 150 by the end of the year but we'll see, b/c I hear the last few pounds are always the harder, one thing Ive learned in the last few months is don't sweat the small stuff and dont beat yourself up if you dont lose any weight for a few weeks, I often have to take a step back and look at the big picture, of how much Ive lost, and how much I have to lose to get to my goal
