Thanks You too keep up the good work. Keep working like that and you'll be skinny in no time. By the way, any of you guys taking vitamins? I'm taking this dietary supplement my mom bought it. I think it helped my left knee while I was reading the label and read about Collagen and glucosamine sulfate not too long ago that it can help recover muscle tears or something like that.

Kevi - I am taking just a broad spectrum multi and a few additional ones, I don't know if they do anything or not but I feel better taking them

nataliejo, i'll give you props for walking in the cold
I have one question though, why would you weigh yourself in everyday?
I think that habit is bad, because it'll make you think that your gaining so much weight and get you frustrated. I may sound bossy, but I suggest you do it atleast once every 5 days. I'm just tossing out my opinion on what's best.

I agree w/Kevi but I used to weigh myself every day, it was my way of keeping a 'check' on myself. Now I do it once a week or less and just try to do those things I do b/c I know that if I do it enough, something has to give.

Whatever works for you hun, keep at it. You may change your focus on day and do it differently, there is no right or wrong answer

Kevi ..it actually works for me if I look in the morning ..when I wear my pjs ... and just take it in the morning ..in my food addict book it wants me to weigh in the evening and there is just no way I am going to do that ..now that would drive me crazy ..but I dont take serious what it says on the scale ..because I know I will be less come Tuesday ..Tuesday is my weigh in day .. I work hard to get it down ... so I love weighing myself everyday .. I can see the little flucuations going downward and it makes me work harder and if I see it going up .. I work even harder .. I was just going for fifteen minute walks ..but after seeing the scale I want to do more ..so I am building it up ..in April when it reaches the 50s I plan to start adding jogging to my routine you know
but because of the scale ..and I find it so easy to walk .. I need to make it harder on me to move .. I need to work out .. u know ..

it works for me ... I just value the Tuesday weigh in

Nat - that's why I put it like I did - your way used to work for me for those exact reasons and I have shifted somewhat, mainly b/c I was becoming obsessive about it. whatever works for you is what you gotta do

Well that's good nataliejo, I was just suggesting what I think is best, but hey it works for you then that's fine. I went out to the gym today and play some basketball for cardio and man I was very tired and sore.

I am thinking of taking a calcium pill, with vitamin D ..because I seem to be somewhat or all the way lactose intolerant and I am going to get a mult vitamin ..and Vitamin E ..because it helps with the elasticity of the skin ..
I really became big with my belly and butt ..so I need the Vitamin E.. I need all these supplements ..u know

I become obsessive about it as well, so I don't even have a scale in my home, and I refuse to get one. I weigh at my gym and only when it is convenient, which is usually Friday's because that is the day I don't have the aerobics class and actually need to change shoes, and store my jacket. (the scale is in the locker room) Other than than, I avoid it. I don't want to get wrapped up in the number, and it is sometimes hard to not do that, as I posted yesterday. I guess everyone has what works best for them.

probably because your muscles have been used the first day and you compound it by the second day ..
thats what I find happens ..over time it hurts more

but it means you are building your muscles

best wishes hun

Your muscles tear a little when you work out, and you have to get your blood pumping the day after a workout to get the nutrients to your muscles so they can be repaired. If you don't, your body gets sorer than it would if you did. So walk or something on off days, just to get your blood pumping, and it should get better.

Or maybe NatalieJo is right and you're just working out way too hard all the time.

But if I have the same 2nd day thing you do.

Have fun!
