natalie jo | Thanks You too keep up the good work. Keep working like that and you'll be skinny in no time. By the way, any of you guys taking vitamins? I'm taking this dietary supplement my mom bought it. I think it helped my left knee while I was reading the label and read about Collagen and glucosamine sulfate not too long ago that it can help recover muscle tears or something like that.

Rep Power: 185 | | nataliejo, i'll give you props for walking in the cold
I have one question though, why would you weigh yourself in everyday?
I think that habit is bad, because it'll make you think that your gaining so much weight and get you frustrated. I may sound bossy, but I suggest you do it atleast once every 5 days. I'm just tossing out my opinion on what's best.

I agree w/Kevi but I used to weigh myself every day, it was my way of keeping a 'check' on myself. Now I do it once a week or less and just try to do those things I do b/c I know that if I do it enough, something has to give.
Whatever works for you hun, keep at it. You may change your focus on day and do it differently, there is no right or wrong answer

I work hard to get it down ... so I love weighing myself everyday .. I can see the little flucuations going downward and it makes me work harder and if I see it going up .. I work even harder .. I was just going for fifteen minute walks ..but after seeing the scale I want to do more ..so I am building it up ..in April when it reaches the 50s I plan to start adding jogging to my routine you know
but because of the scale ..and I find it so easy to walk .. I need to make it harder on me to move .. I need to work out .. u know ..
it works for me ... I just value the Tuesday weigh in

natalie jo | Nat - that's why I put it like I did - your way used to work for me for those exact reasons and I have shifted somewhat, mainly b/c I was becoming obsessive about it. whatever works for you is what you gotta do

Ali | I become obsessive about it as well, so I don't even have a scale in my home, and I refuse to get one. I weigh at my gym and only when it is convenient, which is usually Friday's because that is the day I don't have the aerobics class and actually need to change shoes, and store my jacket. (the scale is in the locker room) Other than than, I avoid it. I don't want to get wrapped up in the number, and it is sometimes hard to not do that, as I posted yesterday. I guess everyone has what works best for them.
