You will get through this! I'm so sorry that the meds are effecting you like this, it doesn't feel good when something out of your control effects you. I'm sorry hun. Just keep an eye on what you can control, and you will make it through this! Your still going and we are still rooting for you!!!
Dreamer2015,
My children had a couple awhile ago, ahh man I wish I could do that again, lol umm but it didn't work as good as before I had kids..
Guys saw this great thing on the TODAY show, today not shure if anyone else saw it. There was a woman on there that lost 213lbs in two years, by changing nutrition and portion control. They didn't mention any exercise. She was going to get lypo, when her doc told her she needed to loose 25lbs before she could have lipo, after the 25 she kept on going. She never did get lypo. She looked way better and way healthier, but it would not suprise me at all if she didn't exercise to help loose weight, because it looked to me like she had some real loose skin... But insparational story, if nutrition/portion alone can do that, we will rock it out with exercise added!!! It makes loosing over 100lbs sound like no big deal! I'm pritty sure they are going to show a new story each day, so I'll let you all know if any more catch my eye, just in case you can't see it...

| well, there are special hoops for adults and the bigger the hoops the easier they are to ... manage... maintain... keep up.. not the flimsy childrens kind. (disregard if at this time your children were adults and we are in fact talking about the same thing... lol)
Im looking forward to it, except the part where ... i cant really do it inside... lol |

Dreamer,
That sounds great! My kids are still kinda little, 7,8,9,14,15, they had the cheapy kid kind. I was going to show them a thing or too, ya know, and my hipes and tummy didn't want to groove together, lol. In this case BIGGER sounds like better! Good luck, and let us know how it's working out for you! It sounds like a lot of fun! |

Man... I feel fat, anyone here feel this way when they don't do anything or get on the scale? xD it scares me. | Me too Kevi, I can dance pretty well...although I cannot understand why I was in pain just from walking the yesterday THAT made me feel fat. Hope, thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your experiences with me
Well everyone, I need to go to bed so I might be a little short....but I went to the gym today and I did not like that gym so much...well I got a bad vibe from it. There is another gym I went to before that I liked more, but because of the location I do not feel as if i will be as committed to it as I would this other one because it is across the street. So I have a dilemma...I mean I really did not like it. I am planning to go there tomorrow morning and see how it is in the morning, maybe I'll like it better at that time. I really want to join a gym because I know I cannot commit to walking outside and I feel as if i need to walk more.
nite all |

I just don't know about my marriage anymore, even though he is the "one", I don't think it matters. Anyway, I can say that I am not handling my stress in my old self distructive ways, which is great. No saying f it I don't care, and eating two portions of something dilishiouse, or saying f it I don't care and not eating anything at all, and no saying f it I don't care and going and getting a pack of cigarettes. So I think MENTALLY, there is progress. I see progress physically too.
I am trying to understand why I am not seeing the weight melt off a bit faster. I have totaly changed the way I eat and I am monitering everything I put in my mouth. I am allso drinking I think 10-12 cups of water a day. And I am exercising every day. And uped my activity level too. The body is such a mistery, lol...
I'm also wondering what I'm going to look like when I'm thin(it will happen! *chanted over and over*) My calfs are super strong, I mean super, and my legs too, I have to say my arms under all the flab are about as big as I want to be with muscle. I never lost my streangth. I'm afraid that since I have been a active heavy person, and my muscles have had the great workout of carrying all my flab for all of these years, that I got stronger under there. UGG. I am wondering now, if I need to up my calories a bit more. Because I do have a lot of muscle to "feed" under that fat, and because of that, I might be haveing a greater calorie defiset then is good, and it might be counter productive... I don't know. I'll have to do some research. What I do know is I do not want to be super musculer, when I get all this weight off. I am haveing the problem of knowing I can do sertain exersises better, but my stomach roll is literaly getting in the way which is so anoying. I am on a mission, a mission I tell you. I got a tast of what I used to be, and I want more, I got to get this weight off! What ever is under there I hope I like though, lol!!! I'm a little scared of playing around with the calories, since what is said everywhere, is take about 500 off of what it takes to maintain your current weight. So it probably doesn't matter that I have a lot of muscle under the fat?
I'm outy for now, catch you all later
Hope2 | Hope you are doing AWESOME!!!!! I am happy that you are seeing both mental and physical progress. I think the mental progress makes all the difference Sometimes I too wonder what I will look like when I am thin, I have been fat for so long. One thing is for certain though, we will be super hot....even hotter than we are now. So far as the calories and muscle thing...I haven't the foggiest.
Keep up the good work |

I know after i get to my healthy bmi i'm going to have loose skin, no matter how much toning i do.. my tummy hangs, and i doubt anything can help that really.. but without exercise i'm sure i'd look like my dog >.< he has enough saggy skin to cover 3 or 4 of his size!
Anyway keep us updated if it shows new ones, i'm gonna check it out!! Either way 213lbs is just amazing!!! WTG her! lol |

Rep Power: 27 | | Ginger - When you go to the gym (this being said not knowing what level of activity you are used to) be ready for it to hurt. When I started, ten minutes on the elliptical pretty much = death for me. I started trying to increase the time by one minute each time to get to where I am. Be ready for it to be hard but in the end it is SO worth it. GOOD LUCK |

Rep Power: 9 | | Thanks Ali...5 minutes on the elliptical is death to me...heck walking in Wal-mart is death to me but at least I'm doing something about it. I plan to start off easy with walking on the treadmill for 30-45 mins...do that for about a month increasing by 5 or so minutes every week and then start with the elliptical. That is what I am thinking now, but maybe my fitness will improve faster than I think and i will be able to push myself harder. Will update tomorrow
Nite everyone have a great tomorrow!! |
