About Chris...by his age I don't think four years younger than you is too young for you. It's definitely legal so whatever you feel comfortable with is cool. The only thing I'd be concerned with is if you feel he acts too boyish or young for you. Other than that I'm with Casanova...GO FOR IT!! Wear whatever you're hottest in. Although for a marina there may be a great deal of breeze and u might have a Marilyn moment. I say pants....unless the Marilyn moment is what you are looking for I hope things turn out well for you guys!!

Summerbaby you are too sweet Well either you are sweet or you are trying to get me lost in Mt. Hood (just kidding) I have always wanted to go to Colorado on a ski trip or to visit Seattle some day. You must love it where you live. WOW to see snow and mountains every day. U know Florida is as flat as a pancake. Well, north Florida has some rolling hills, but the only hills anywhere else are landfills no one gets lost on those things.

So Kevi...Texas eh....you left alligator burgers for 5 pound apple pie? Something's just not right about that...

We are going under the "preset" of friends, but I really like him and would like to get to know him. He is not very good on the phone, but thats ok, we will see... I will report to you all ...when we go out, but that won't be happening until next Saturday or Friday ...

Natalie Darling....Wear whatever YOU feel great in. Something that gives you confidence. Just let YOU shine through. 4 years is nothing in the grand scheme of things. At 72 and 76, it won't even be an issue!

Ginger....Remember, Portland is WAY cooler than Seattle! and I only live about 2 1/2 hours drive from Seattle. So, come see me and we will go tear up Seattle for a weekend, AND play in the snow!

Well, I have had a tough couple of days. Didn't stick to my diet very well. My big problem is snacking at night. I ate a decent dinner, then about 9 just wanted to snack soooo bad. I kept it limited, but ate some wheat thins and 4 fritos! (I wanted those damn fritos, so allowed myself 4 to quit thinking about them.) I cheated just enough the past 2 days that I know I will maintain and not LOSE! So, back on track today.

Something my 19 yr old said to me yesterday really hit home. I was frustrated that I had "cheated" and she said, "relax Mom, it is just food, nothing more than sustinance". Great way to think about it. It sort of takes away all the power food has over us/me. (did I mention she is a size TWO?)

I just found out I can fit in four more pairs of my jeans... Size 24s... so fitting back into old clothing, saawweettt... lol

I think I am going to wear my jeans with butterflies going all the way down the pant leg, with a black sweater with no shoulders... just lyes on my upper arm ... its very nice ...with a nice pair of shoes ..and I will do my hair up ...

Thanks Summerbaby and Natalie Jo!! I went to the gym today and worked out and I walked there! It is in the lower 40's today!
Then I walked the wrong way there. The Y is a diagonal long block and a half or so across two parking lots from my place, what I didn't realize is that they had not cleared the snow from the sidewalks between the first parking lot So I walked the long way around on the way back. Which was fine, of course.

And the avatar matches the theme Are you sure you want me to come...I'm a pretty hot chick and I don't know how snow might react to me...I'll be even closer to one of the arctic poles if i come, and we do have to consider the polar bears...I might just melt everything (just kidding) I'm doing the American thing next year Lord's willin This year I am planning the tropical thing ...Jamaica, Belize or something like that. Tabbigirl - you inspired me to post my own before/after pics so I started my own thread in that section (Before and During - Not Done Yet)...however, I did not figure out how to put the actual pics in the post so they are there as teensy tiny thumbnails, haha...oh well, everone will get the point...
