Man, everyone here is a parent!? And could be my mom huh? lol
Well let me tell you more about me, I actually listen to my parents lol. I don't talk back to them or anything and I do whatever they tell me to do. They spoil me a little, but I think it's worth it, because I'm a very good child. I do good in school even if i don't study. I'm going to high school and night school and not that stressful, but mom thinks so haha. That's my life | That's good that you wear braces when you play. You know what... I bet you are less than 200 pounds now, you just love us so much that you stay here. LoL.
I'm not a parent and heck no I can't be your mom... Unless I was 6 when I had you. LoL. I'm much like yourself, listen to my parents, well mainly my mom, my stepdad hardly talks to me.
I did great in school too, not because I'm super smart, but because everyone I went to high school with my Soph/Jr/Sr year were stupid. I didn't even have to study, what I was learning I already knew. My mom was slightly dissappointed in the Arizona school system after we moved here. She says that we would have never moved to Arizona if she knew that I was going to be learning stuff I already knew because Californias education system is a bit better. Especially since the first high school I went to in Arizona was considered a great 5A school and I was the only Soph. in classes with Juniors and Seniors due to me being already advanced.
Anyway, I went to 3 different high schools (1 in CA and 2 in AZ) and the last one I went to was a 2A school. Hell, my first day all the teachers tried to speak to me in Spanish because alot of the Mexican kids that went there only spoke Spanish!! Pretty much there were 3 races there, White/Mexican/Native American. I believe that there was only 1 African American guy and NO other races. It was a real shock to me to go from 2 different 5A high schools with 2500+ kids containing every race possible, to a school that was K-12 and graduating in a class of less than 70 kids.
Eh, I know I went off about my high school days, but it's good to remember. |

Forgot to ask you this:
Why do you go to night school too? You trying to graduate early or are they vocational classes? If they are vocational, what career are you getting training on? |

Rep Power: 184 | | I moved alot too haha, our family moved here in US back in 2003 and I learned alot and adapted fast haha. I was 12 back then, and we moved from Philippines --> Baltimore --> Ocala, FL --> Baytown, Texas. I have to get used to alot lol. I think by the time I graduate high school i'm gonna be quadringual. I know My language + the dialect, I know a little japanese, I know some Spanish, English, and soon maybe korean lol I can understand some .
I go to night school so I dont have to take extra classes next year and it's needed for nursing.
Guess what guys! I might join the YMCA basketball team. I seen their team before and to be honest, they suck and if I join....hmmm not gonna brag or anything, but were gonna kick ass haha.

They don't know a lick of it, and neither do my 3 step brothers and sisters, and their dad is mexican, and their mother (his ex wife) is a spanish teacher!!!lol You never can tell! Now my Irish American kids, speak better spanish then all of them, lol.. They start teaching them in kindergarden now in Florida! You just never know! | I'm Mexican American. Well, I'm 4th generation born in America, so pretty much just American. I'm not sure about my father's side because he has never been in my life. But I know for sure that I'm not full blooded Hispanic because my grandfather was part Mexican and Native American. Not Native enough to get any of the benefits that they get.
But yeah, people are always trying to speak Spanish to me. LoL. I understand enough to get the drift of what they are trying to say, but other than that, I'm completely clueless. |

What dialect do you speak? My step father is also Filipino and moved here around the same age you did. He's been trying to teach my mom and I his dialects for the past 12 years, but still there is only certain words I understand, plus the ones that sound like Spanish. So, no wonder you know some Spanish. Right now he is trying to teach me how to cook, so far I got adobo down.
Anyway, why do you refer yourself as Asian? I've know tons of Filipinos and they all get mad when someone calls them Asian, they prefer Pacific Islander. |

Rep Power: 6298 | | | hey guys! I'm back after a little wandering off time. I've been trying to get ready to move and, well, I fell off the wagon. I'm trying to climb back on, though. The damage isn't too great, just a 2 pound gain, but getting them to leave is proving hard.
I'm sure if I focus on eating better they'll fly away like all y'all's pounds have (great job on the losses everybody!!).

My step-dad speaks Tagalog and Pangasinan (I think that's how you spell it) So far I got how to say manok (chicken) down! LoL. And a few other basic words. But I'm hopeless with foreign languages, lol when I took Spanish 1 in high school I failed it the first year . So, I think when I go back to school I'm going to take American Sign Language, hopefully that will count as a foreign language.
