Hopefully I can get support and information that I need to get from a 10lbs loss, to an 80 lbs loss! Thanks! | I have been in the same boat!!! I would lose about 15 lbs and then gain it all back... For me it seems like I get a point about 3 weeks in that I am like I have done soo good for the last 3 weeks that I am gonna just eat what I want today... then it turns into the rest of the week.. gonna "re-start my diet on Monday" syndrome... and then it's a month before I try again... But I will try to help keep you motivated if you help me!!!

That's what happens to me too. I was down at 243 like my scale says but vacation is evil especially when the food tastes soooo good!
I think I'm back up to 248 now. Eh.
Anyway, I'm unsure of how to break your plateu since I'm having the same problem obviously. But maybe once you lose the 10 pounds, you should try some different / new exercising video that will seem entertaining and fun to do for a while and maybe it will help you from regaining those 10 pounds. |

It is SO HARD living with someone who does not eat healthy. Also, having to get up for work at 4 am and getting off at 5 pm doesn't make you feel all the excited to work out. But tomorrow marks the start of it all.
My friend called today to tell me the exact date of her wedding and I'm a bridesmaid. I have until April 2009 to loose at least 80 lbs. Think its do-able? | Congratulations on finally moving into the new house! I just barely joined LA Fitness, haven't been there yet, I'm going today tho. So, let me know how Ballys works for you. I was thinking about going there, but LA just had so many more locations that were closer to me.
Oh, I think that you can lose 80 by April. I'm actually hoping you can because my goal is similar to yours, to lose about 75 by May. So good luck to both you and myself. |

Rep Power: 9 | | Welcome Moliss22, lafattack8705, and emericana! Congrats on all your hard work and pounds gone!
Kevi, I LOVE brown rice!
Spartacus: I'm glad your still working out! I stopped working out for a week, and am trying to get back on track with that now.... and my calves are killing me after 15 minutes in the morning, and 13 in the evening on my elliptical!!
I came by to check on you all, see how everyones doing, and to report another 2lbs gone! |

Rep Power: 8 | | I love the brown rice, too. Unfortunately, my hubbie is a chef and prefers white. And he's a chef. I eat what he cooks. Mmmmm.... ;-)
Thanks for the encouragement!!! This is summer. I need structure in my day and I'm broke, so going to the gym provides both. Good job on the elliptical!! Do you have one at home? I could only hope... one day!!
Keep at it!!
Oh, and congrats on the weight loss!! I'm still a pound higher than my sig says. Whoops! |

Rep Power: 9 | | Spartacus: Thanks, and yes, I have an elliptical at home, I just bought it for less than $200 on Amazon. It's fine for what I need. It has a 300lb weight capacity, but was a bit time consuming and frustrating to assemble! LOL. How long has your Husband been a chef? I want to go to culinary school within the next few years.

Rep Power: 0 | | so I have a plan now. In order to maintain my weight it says I have to continue eating 2800 calories a day which grosses me out to no end to think thats what I'm eating a day. So what I need to do is cut down my calorie intake to 1500 and work out about 5 days a week and I'll be down to 145 by April 10th.
Personally I think this is totally do-able considering I plan on working out more than the minimal amount they say. And if I cut it back 300 more calories a day to 1200 I can be down to 145 by February 10th.
I really think I can do it this time. I will buy fruits/veggies, oatmeal for breakfast and healthy foods to make for meals instead of eating out and I can lose the weight in no time. (and I say all this as I'm eating a rootbeer float) |

Rep Power: 8 | | Whenever I run I cut off atleast 230 Calories and IDk when I workout and through out the week. But I seem to be gaining too much muscle weight and makes it hard for me to get off 200 lbs mark haha | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
