Rep Power: 0 | | Hi guys, its been ages since I've been on here but I'm newly motivated to lose a ton of weight. Where did everybody else go!?
I started going to the gym almost every night and I've reduced my calorie intake to between 800-1000 calories a day. I've lost about 12 lbs already this month and hope to lose another 18 before christmas. I know its drastic but I'm meeting my boyfriend's family in Ohio and I don't want to be nearly as big as I am now.
I gained back all the weight I previously lost plust about 10 extra pounds, but now I'm back on track. I feel really good this time around because I'm looking at it as a long term life change rather than I need to diet for a while to lose weight. I'm excited to keep it up and see the progress.
How is everyone else doing?! |

Rep Power: 8 | | Welcome Back Cameraobscura!
Well everyone, I survived Thanksgiving! All the food and yummy goodness and it didn't mess me up. My weight stayed exactly the same. Which is good, because I thought that me stepping away from the Jenny Craig program menu was going to hurt me, but it didn't because I was able to maintain my weight.
So, this week my JC counsler told me is the Body Phase of the program. So, I got to start counting my steps and working out a few days out of the week. That will be good, I haven't really used my gym membership in awhile, but that's going to change for this phase. I'm so glad, I've lost like 8 pounds in one month. Hopefully this 8lbs per month loss keeps up because than I'll be at my goal weight of 175 by August. That's what I'm shooting for because my cousin is getting married that month, I'm a bridesmaide, and I dont want to look how I do now.
Hope the Holidays are going well for everyone!

I took my guy, Sean, to go meet my family in CA on Thanksgiving. He liked everyone in my family. However, my mom drove down with us, so he kinda got Mom overloaded and doesn't care for her much because of her "I'm always right" attitude. I wish your meeting the best tho. Hopefully you get along with everyone in his family! |

Rep Power: 0 | | I'm happy you're getting back on track too, veronandez86! It feels great doesn't it? I've lost about 20 lbs in a month and I'm so excited. I feel like I can do anything. Now I only have to lose 10 more lbs before december 22nd to be at my original goal, but now I'm shooting for 15 Gotta keep it interesting.
WHERE IS EVERYONE?! |

Rep Power: 0 | | I was 375 pounds two years ago. In 2007 I lost 115 pounds! This year I gained about 15 of it back (which believe me could have been worse!). My goal for 2009 is to get down to 220 pounds with a combination of cardio and weights. Wish me luck! |

Rep Power: 8 | | | What do you mean, where is everyone. It's December! My old WW leader said that it was amazing how many people would shout "Holla!" the week before Thanksgiving and not show up again until the new year.
I'm starting tomorrow (right?) to get back on track. I fell off (again) today. :-) |

Well, I've been doing good. I still haven't been using my gym membership, but actually going to the gym will be my New Years resolution for 2009.
JC is working out well for me. I've been going exactly a month as of yesterday and I have lost a little more than 11 pounds. Hopefully this keeps up.
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! WE CAN DO IT! |

XOX | In my opinion, don't worry about it much. It's not like you are going to eat it everyday. Taste the food you like sometimes if you really want it. I've been eating whatever I want. |

Rep Power: 8 | | | People are always going to say worry about it later. The best thing that I've found is to eat exactly what I want but limit portions. It's a strategy that works better with foods that aren't triggers... also, drink water whenever possible and have a glass of water before you eat so you'll feel full quicker. You might still gain a little, but not as much as if it were a full-out food fest!! | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
