what's your motivation

Currently, I've been staggering at 150 (went back up from 145) and I seem to have lost some motivation. but i do want to change that again, I was just wondering what are some of your motivations.! THank you!

What keeps you away from that cookies?
What helps you to drink water instead of juice?
Or eat salad instead of pizza?

What keeps you away from that cookies? Beach Holiday in December
What helps you to drink water instead of juice? It is better for my body!
Or eat salad instead of pizza? OMG hard one.... Just the fact that I want to be thin on my 18th and live a healthier lifestyle!

I guess what helps me is knowing that I have to set an example for my daughters, I dont' want them to grow to love food at such an early age

Lots of things. Both of my sisters, for one. Both are very thin and I hate being the chubby little sister. Also, my birthday. I really want to go swimming on my birthday and I want to look good in a bathing suit.

Making sure I live long enough to see my grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Oh and I am taking my wife and two little boys to DisneyWorld this summer. I do not want anyone to say I cannot go on a ride due to my size!

Keeps me away from cookies? Well I don't keep them at the house. Also I am am emotional eater, so I'm learning now to stop and see if I really WANT a cookie or do I want/need something else more emotionally/mentally fulfilling.

Water instead of juice? I've never really liked juce to be honest. BUT I am a diet coke/soda lover. So I have little rules, I have to drink a whole water bottle while at the gym. I have to drink another container before I am allowed to have any coffee or anything else to drink during the day. And one last bottle before bed at least.

Salad instead of pizza? Honestly.. I don't. Usually my FH will discourage us from getting any. But, I eat it when I want it, and I count inmy claories. A thin crust Domino's pizza with two slices. I'm good to go for awhile!

But my overall motivation, comes frmo my pants fitting better, the scale moving, my FH saying I look slim. My sisters congratulating me. Having to post my food on this forum. Having everyone here cheer me on in the forum. That's what motivates me. Mainly.. I Just want to be healthy.
