I am 23 (24 on march 26), married to a wonderful husband, and we have to kids....a beagle named Chubs (he should join this forum...he is chubby) and a cat named Bentley. They are all we have right now and all we have time for. I am currently in my first year of respiratory therapy school and I only have about 4 quarters left! I work full time at our local ER as a PCT (patient care tech). So all in all, I am a pretty busy girl. I am also going through therapy 3xs a week for my left foot. I had bunion, hammertoe and my arch reconstructed in my foot in november. Hopefully therapy will end march 13. Its great to go but it keeps me very busy. I am also seeing a weight counselor and so far as of what the scale said today, i have lost 12 pounds. I havent changed my signature and I didnt post that as my weight for the last challenge because I didnt want to be so sure of my scale...I usually wait and see if I weigh that two or three days in a row.
alright I think I have gabbed enough, but lets stay motivated and kick some butt!!
Ok my name is Tina and I am 39 and have a beautiful 2 year old daughter! I have been yoyoing for the past few months but I am hoping to get in gear this challenge! My very first challenge when i started in october i lost 11 pounds!! I gained it back and haven't done good sense! So I am going to do it this time and stay active in challenges! I love competition!~ Bad thing is i didnt get to go in to work this morn because me and my 2 year old went to er sick! We have that virus going around! So I am drinking lots of liquids and still going to excercise because I know I cant let it get me down! My start weigh in this morn is 229.8 So come on chics and dude lets rock them scales and kick some booty!!!!!!!
I would love to be a motivated chick, are you starting a challenge today (3/1/06)? I need a team, and I don't already know anyone, but redneckwoman has already been so helpful & encouraging!

Ok, here is an intro..its nothing exciting, lol...
I am married, 2 girls, 7 and 2 and I'm a stay at home mom..so I'm on here quiet often I am on a 1200 cal diet and try to fit in excersize when I can, but I'm not big on that. Um...I'm trying to loose 20 pds by june 1st! I Know I can!
I weighed in today at 183 (so sad, a 2 pd gain) but thats ok, b/c I'm really pumped up to do this challenge (thanks RN) so I know I'll kick some serious tail!
Lets really do our best everyone!!! I want to blow everyone way!!

Yippee, I even made myself a ticker (I'm such a novice, this is all very exciting for me anyway). Thanks chicks (& the dude)! I'll do my best. I started a diary too, but I don't want to have to record my food in two places - too lazy - since I already do it on my PDA, so I'll be reporting my exercise & my total calories.
When do we all "officially" weigh in? I weighed myself already Monday.

we need your weigh in today girlfriend! keep that excitement going and its fine on your journal we just keep in touch a lot with them and seeing your excercise and stuff will be great! WE WILL KEEP YOU ON TRACK THAT WAY!

Yea, today is our first weigh in and then in 2 wks from today (the 15th) we weigh in again
In previous challenges we kept our loss a secret and PM'd it to each other. Last time we told everyone what we lost and some people thought that helped them to see the progress...what do you guys want to do??

Hey Ladies! I'm just trying to meet some new people on here and so let me introduce myself as well then... The name's Liz, I have a beautiful baby boy and a less than perfect figure. At 5"2' I weigh in at 170 lbs. I am totally desperate to getting an actual routine here and I think I just found a miracle with this weight loss forum! So please include me into challenges because I'm ready to go! I need some support here. Damn skinny friends... haha. Thanks everyone.. good luck on all your personal goals!

Ok, here's today's weigh in: 215. I think a weekly weigh-in would help me, but I could go either way on reporting it, it does motivate me to see other people succeeding too. I just hate seeing that number (I try not to obsess), but I would love to watch it decrease (keep telling myself to get out of the comfort zone). Let's rock, motivated chicks (and a dude)!
