Question

Hello!

I'm female, weigh around 145 lbs now. To be honest, I don't want to lose so much weight, I want to tone my thighs/hips/stomach so that it isn't as squishy, so to speak. Is there anything I can do to make my body look fit but still maintain my curves? I don't want to lose my hourglass shape but at the same time I'm too self-conscious to wear a bathing suit. :/ I want to run but I'm nervous..

Any tips/ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Just do calisthenics and a couple of runs a week. Nothing to be nervous about.

Have you got a healthy eating plan?

Strength/resistance training is good for getting the toned look - try some resistance bands or core workouts such as pilates or use the exercise ball. Running can be pretty amazing - just try it and if it isn't for you no worries try something else.

I hate calisthenics. that's why i asked about running XD.

i eat pretty well for a college student... i mean, there's room for improvement, but as far as being an amateur goes, i think i do well.

I'd hit the weights personally. Probably the most optimal path to your goal.
