Rep Power: 46 | | Good job, big guy!
I had a good week too. Down 5 pounds this week, to 272.
There's no way my knees will handle running yet. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | I would love to join this club. I'm at about 225 now (down from 233) but have fallen off the wagon lately and need all the support I can get. I've also started to go to OA so I hope that helps too. I am SOOOOOO miserable like this but yet I contunue to eat and eat what and when I shouldn't. I so want to get into that 190 club but at least until I do, it seems like I'm in very good company.
Good luck everyone! |

Rep Power: 0 | | hello to all the new ones and good luck!
I'm going pretty steady, I like the pattern I'm in. I'll lose a bit, maintain it for a couple days and then drop some more. I'm glad to see myself getting to number I haven't seen in YEARS. It seems I've almost broken the yo-yo habit between the same numbers.
I'm hoping to be out of the 200's by the end of this month!!!! |

Rep Power: 6 | | Since getting back on the program, I have set new, more meaningful goals for myself. Goal 1: 185 lbs - obesity/overweight range
Gaol 2: 154 lbs - overweight/healthy weight range Goal 3: 125 lbs - my desired weight
The pounds are for 5'6" person and since I have a small/medium frame I will need to get to the low end of the ranges.
It will take a lot of hard work and determination but I hope to be out of the obesity range or at the very least in the 190's by the end of July. The program I'm on should allow me to accomplish this. Sometimes when I look at graphs I can't believe I allowed myself to get to this point |

I lose weight that way as well. I like to think of it as my body "catching-up" to the fat burned. Who knows. As long is it comes off.. it's all good. |

Rep Power: 9 | | I think I joined this club sometime last year before I got pregnant. I had my baby 5 weeks ago and I'm ready to get back on track. I gained 53 pounds during my pregnancy and have only managed to lose 35 pounds of it. I say ONLY 35 pounds because I had gotten down to 220 before my pregnancy and I now weigh 238. But hopefully I'll be able to make it to my goal weight this time. I'd like to get down to 165. Hello to all the members! |

Just checking in since it is kind of my "mid-week" and my weigh in weekly day is on thursday. I had a good 4th of July and managed to keep food consumption in check.
Two challenges over the weekend: One was a grill out, the hamburgers looked so good! I ended up having a chicken breast and salad, and water...but it would have been so easy to load up two hamburgers and a bratwurst, and a beer! The other challenge was a pizza party. The meatlovers looked soooo good. I ended up though with two small pieces of chicken pizza and a small salad... Normally I would have had 4-6 pieces of meat pizza... So I think damage control went well. While the other adults were stuffed and could not hardly moved shortly after eating I was running around the yard playing with the kids
We visited family over the weekend and I had a few nice compliments and encouraging statements regarding my diet from my family.
Back to the "real" world now... Hope you are all doing well and I will check in later

Rep Power: 2 | | | Big Guy----great job over the 4th weekend! I read your post and it sounded exactly like what I went through myself.
Any more room in this club for another member? I weighed in this am at 254, and looking to get to 180 over the next year.
I'm fairly new to the board and have been trying to find a piece where I fit in. Would love to be able to lend and receive support along the way.

Thursday morning weekly weigh in. I was 278.8... the rate of my weight loss has been really encouraging. Last week I think I was 283, so 5 lbs for one week loss is great. I feel blessed to lose so quick but I will not be discouraged if it slows down.
I have been staying true to my routine. I have switched up my cardio working out, I started hitting the stairmaster at the gym after my run. That thing is awesome... you talk about an aerobic workout.
I have a nice weekend planned with lots of chores to get done around the house. Seems like the list never ends of stuff to do.
Hope this finds you all well,

Haven't been on lately. My treadmill broke so I've fallen off of the wagon a bit. Haven't exercised for about 2-3 weeks now. I was able to maintain my weight tho, so I'm still 212. However, today I am starting to get back on track again.
My boyfriend and I ordered that P90X workout that they always show on TV. The program has 3 different ways of doing it. I'm doing the Lean version and my boyfriend is doing the classic. Only real difference is he has 2 days of upper body videos and those days I have cardio. All the other videos in the routine are the same.
I've just completed Day 1/90. Kicked my behind. I'm not feeling sore... yet. I was only unable to do a couple of the routines but they were push up routines and I just don't have the upper body for that.
Hopefully it will all go well and I'll stick with it. It's pretty tough, but I feel confident that I can do it. I erased my old diary and I think I am going to start a new one soon.
Veronica

I'm new to the club, and new to blogs. I started at 218 and am currently 206, so just qualify, my target is 178
I have been this size before, and I found ages ago that there are ways of losing weight rather than going headlong into restrictive diets or aggessive exercise routines. I start the day with a glass of water, and have reduced the quantity of food at mealtime by about a third. I find I don't have to starve myself and over a period this quantity has now become the norm. I have also replaced some of the meal items with No Calorie Items. There is a free list of No Calorie Foods HERE
Well, i'm off to do my exercise for today, digging over a new veg plot.
Hope all are progressing well.
Cheers for now.

Rep Power: 0 | | | New to the scene. I am also new to the club and new to the forum as of today.
I begin as a member of this club at 217. My goal is 160, though it may change depending on how I feel when I get closer to that goal. I have not been that size in more than a decade so I do not know how it will look or feel besides a wonderful change for the better.
Hope to progress with all of you and hear all about success and what it takes.
Nice to be here, thanks for having me. |
