During the last 15lbs of weight loss, I have started to get some deep jawline acne, as well as acne all over the body in general. Many of them are hard and deep. I am in my early 40s, so this is quite strange to me. Well, at least I can reach the middle of my back now to scratch the buggers off ;-)

Is the cause related to hormones e.g. rising testosterone levels, or what?

Anybody else experienced this problem?

I'm sure acne is created by a large amount of a certain hormone, I had it quite badly when I was a teenager, i'm just starting to get over it now (which has left my face with some sexy scaring as always picked my spots) Perhaps you're body is just creating more of this hormone?

You should go to your Doctor who can prescribe some tablets/cream to help keep it under control
