Rep Power: 87 | | yuck! I'd totally skip that idea if I were you. Try eating healthy and exercising instead! Read the stickies posted, they are full of great advice on weight loss!

yeah I found milk really quite bleurgh aswell! Try it with fruit juice
I usually use apple juice or exotic juice with the vanilla f1 or raspberry and cranberry juice(lite) with the strawberry f1.
Recently tho I have quite enjoyed using sweetened soya milk up to maybe 200mls and then topping with maybe apple juice or something.
Also add some fruit. Like at the mo pears are in season so its nice if you do apple juicewith the vanilla f1 and the protein powder if using and then add some juicy pear or maybe half a can of tinned pears if you need to.
Frozen fruit is really handy too.
Been herbalifing since July and enjoying it =) |

I would much rather eat and enjoy foods that I know are keeping me healthy and helping me to lose weight and keep it off.

Rep Power: 85 | | Having nothing but shakes does not teach you new eating habits - unless you are planning to have nothing but shakes for the rest of your life.
I feel sick at the very thought. Frankly - thank goodness that it never occurred to me to starve myself in such a manner. I lost a lot of weight (probably much more than you have to lose) in quite a short period of time by eating lots of yummy food and doing some exercise. I am at goal weight now and have no real inclination to eat any differently than I have on the way down - just maybe a little treat when I have a meal in a restaurant with friends....
All the information is here on the forum at no cost. Read those threads and scrap the starvation / punishment. You deserve better. |

You can actually get a personal coach before starting Herbalife weight management program as they will guide you and to answer all your questions to ensure that you reach your goal.
Btw, how do you make the shakes? How many scoops F1, F3?
What is the flavour of F1 that you are currently having?
If you are using orange juice, make sure it is pure orange juice that is without sugar, not those in the packets that you can buy from supermarkets. |

S'funny I thought the same as you guys did before I tried it. I ain't saying this works for everyone but for me I find it so helpfull quick and easy and I enjoyed how it made me feel that I decided to buy more of the stuff.
Pffft I hear you say ...but remember not everyone is the same we all have different ideas about things but I do agree about eating healthily. That's why I know exactly what I put in my body on a daily basis - I roughly know the amount of cals and protein and fibre now without having to look things up all the time. I know how much fibre I'm getting. Do you?
Some weeks I just have a smoothie for breakfast and eat 'normally' the rest of the day some days I have smoothies for both breakfast and lunch if it makes life easier. And at the weekends I usually eat normally if you wanna call it that.
I also go out for lunch have a social life and have fun and don't "starve" myself or force myself to eat something that is bad.
Since July I am currently enjoying feel good positiveness with regular small weight losses, have learned so much about food nutrition more than I did at school, my skin hair and nails have improved Ive lost inches,I no longer take suger in tea or coffee when I drink that, I no longer feel the need to eat bread (before the smell of a bag of morning rolls would drive me nuts), I am particular about what I eat and how its cooked, my BMI and body fat down have dropped significantly my metabolic rate has increased through the exercise I now do more of and I have tried loads of different new foods I previously hadn't heard of.
So Yes eat healthily and exercise more but above all read all you can about nutrition and exercise because Knowledge is also important and very helpful.
Have a nice day =) |

Rep Power: 85 | | We certainly do know how much fibre we are getting - and protein and calcium and sodium and all the other nutrients. All our vitamins get flagged up if they are below the RDA too. That is the only way that you can know that you are eating healthily. We also know how our diet balances out proportionally regarding nutrients and against our exercise. Do you?
As people join the forum they are often advised to get a free account from fitday and to study the nutrition section. It is only with such a free account that they can apply the teachings of the nutrition section.
Most people class eating food as eating normally.
Have a nice day yourself. =) |

Rep Power: 0 | | Yeah I used to use Fitday its really good I havta say, I think it costs a few pennies now? Been using calorie count a bit its great aswell...and being a stingy scots lassie I'll go where the freebies are!
This week I have been loving good ol' stir fries but soon off to enjoy a family birthday dinner and I am looking forward to a big slice of fabulous cake. But only one slice.
Promise.
And a wee vodka n lime...or two.
But apart from the cake and the vodka everything else will be healthy actually I have my eye on a mediterranean risotto or chicken salad, we'll see.
Stay lovely peeps. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | herbal life worked for me, but after awhile, i missed eating real food. true, i lost quite some weight, everyone raved about it, but seriously, it's more like a meal replacement, which isn't very filling. eating healthy and exercising is better, you can take health supplements along the way, like acai berry juice.. lol |

Im thinking of using orange juice instead of milk in the shake.Any ideas??? x | I am using Herbalife for past 4 months and it really works. I have lost around 10 KG (22 pounds) in 4 months (may not be very high). Below is what i do daily.
1. Use Herbalife twice a day
2. 3 scoops of F1 and 1 scoop of F3 mixed in 4% milk (250 ml) for breakfast
3. 3 scoops of F1 and 1 scoop of F3 mixed in fat free milk (250 ml) for lunch.
4. dinner - regular meal (approx 400 - 500 Cals)
5. Snacks - strictly only cut fruits (Pineapple, Papaya, Apple and Grapes)
6. I consume approx 4 ltrs of water a day (may be high but this helps in burning fat by consuming the protein in the shake). It is not myth, more water consumption dfnly help in weight loss.
7. No alcohol - Past 3 weeks i started reducing more because of strict no to Alcoholic beverages. Alcohol converts to acetate and which is burnt by your body more than whats in store (this is real and when i stopped consuming alcohol weight loss started fast)
8. Play badminton for 30 minutes a day.
Taste of F1 and F3 is not that great with milk but it is an acquired taste and you will start liking it in couple of weeks (especially F1 mango flavour).
I am not into the MLM as I am not much comfortable with that business. But as a product herbalife is really great and i know many of my friends have lost lot of weight with herbalife.
Also try to cut down coffee/tea and instead try taking Afresh (herbalife product) in water (product of herbalife) which gives more energy and increases metobolism.
Keep a count of your weekly weight loss and if not working well try changing what you eat.
