Bulking up calories per day

Hi there,

Recently I put a post up and was advised to up my calories before starting on my weight loss journey, just wondered of any little inbetween meal snacks I could try.

And also, I figured eating say for example 2 apples inbetween breakfast and dinner, just little things like this, would help me build my calories in a good way?

Sorry for the probably beginner questions, but everyone has to start somewhere!

I try to get in a little bit of protein with every meal/snack I eat. I also try to keep my snacks around 200 calories or less. So a few ideas:

an apple and some cheese
a boiled egg and some low-sodium tomato juice or V8
1 T peanut butter and a banana (or an apple)
yogurt and fruit
low fat cottage cheese with either veg or fruit
veggies and hummus
