Rep Power: 6 | | | I have two questions.... Can you burn calories in your sleep? Becuase i seems the more hours I sleep during the day, not only supresses my craving but I wake up lighter-like, 5 pounds lighter. And my scale isn't broken or anything.
Second question: Are Laxatives recommended for weight loss?
I know, dumb questions but I'd like to know these thing.

Rep Power: 35326 | | You burn calories all day long, but probably not 5 pounds worth! It's probably your water weight fluctuating.
As for laxatives, it's a bad idea. It's just as bad as throwing up food...not great for your health. Eat healthy and exercise, that's the healthiest way to do it.
Good luck!

Rep Power: 0 | | | yeah if you wake up and loss 5 lbs.. its mostly likely water weight. As soon as u eat and drink you'll probably gain back the lbs., but you do burn calories in your sleep.. not as many as if you were awake

Rep Power: 6 | | | I haven't exercised that frequently does this mean that the 19 pounds I lost this week was only water weight? What does that mean when I reach my goal...I haven't really or something? I am confused.
Thanks for the help guys.

Rep Power: 35326 | | | I think the first 10 or so pounds are water weight...I lost 12 within a few days last time, and then nothing for quite a while, even though I was getting more fit.

Rep Power: 357933 | | | that's entirely too much to lose in 1 week...
what are you -- or are you not eating?
Make sure that you are weighing yourself at the same time each week wearing the same thing- a person can gain easily, 5 lbs in one day but that usually comes off the next day your morning weight and your evening weight are never the same.

Rep Power: 6 | | | I don't think it's a big deal, I'm simply eating skinless/boneless chicken and a lot of shrimp and the ocassional goat meat. This is probably the way my body reacts when abstaining from all the things I love like whole wheats and flour.

Rep Power: 0 | | | I really think you should be doing far more research on what your daily nutritional intake should be and I'm not talking your calorie intake. You need a BALANCED daily food plan to make sure you're getting the right amount of vitamins and minerals, fats etc. Do you drink enough water? Do you know the amount of water you should be drinking?
You obviously have access to the 'net, for heaven's sake do yourself a favour and use it to research these things (not just visiting forums).
And yes, "Are laxatives recommended for weightloss?" is a really dumb question.

Rep Power: 357933 | | | laxatives and fiber supplements are not bad for when you use them for what they are intended for... when you use them for weight loss, you do a lot of harm, sometimes long lasting harm to your body.
