Does anyone have any tricks or mental methods that they use to stop a food binge? I'll do so well in exercising and eating for a few days, and then I'll have a cookie and suddenly the feeding frenzy begins. My mindset during these binges is that, "Oh well, I've fallen off the food wagon already so I might as well go all out" Can anyone help?

I think that type of thinking is what keeps us eating...try replacing it with something like, every calorie I don't take in is helping me lose weight...or something like that.
I've heard people say that you should brush your teeth...I chew a crap load of gum but also....binges happen when you feel like you are depriving yourself of the thing you want. Don't deprive yourself, if you allow yourself certain 'treats', every day, every two days whatever....you are less likely to eat the whole bag of cookies.
