Good luck, it does work.
Two words that have always helped me: Boca Burgers | I am in the same boat, I lost 40 lbs on WW points system just over a year ago, my wife and I had our first daughter in September '05. I have been off the diet since then and I can feel the pounds creeping their way back on. i have decided to do the ww diet again since it worked so good the first time.
Lots of water and baby carrots all the time. Kept me full and lost the weight, fast and healthy. Threw in riding my bike during the warm month or two we have. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | I am just starting the point system. Actually, I began it somewhat today. It seems kind of confusing at first, but I am trying to understand it more. I am not sure, though, which system I like more - the points or the other one. Any suggestions?

I have never looked into Core, because I don't like enough healthy food (bad, I know). With the points, I can eat what I want as long as I watch my portions and balance everything out.

Rep Power: 0 | | | Craving tips!! Hey.. I got some craving killers..
Before eating.....
1. Take a cold shower
2. eat ice
3. sleep without sheets on you
4. drink a glass of ice cold water before eating
5. when you suddenly have a craving, wait 15 min.. it will usually go way
6. exercise, the craving WILL go away
That's all I can remember.. anyone know any others? |

this week is a struggle. I actually drove into a fast food drive up and then drove past
i almost went over into the abyss.
last weigh-in was good so i am glad i did not blow it.
i am down 22.8 pounds in three weeks-- i think that is 10.3 Kg

Rep Power: 0 | | | WW Works!! I lost 86 pounds on weight watchers two years ago..I did the points program and I loved it!! The core program didn't seem to make much sense--it's hard for people to stop eating when they are full--if there is food left to eat most people will eat until it is gone...with the points I knew once I got to 26 points, that was that, I was done for the day...but even though you can eat pretty much whatever you want, you still have to make the right choices by choosing healthy things to spend your points on..not that you can't treat yourself, but be careful with it...good luck to everyone!! |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Super Start?? What is super start?? Is that something new for this year?? It seems like every year they introduce something new...
And it's okay that you stayed the same.. Anytime I had bad week I would dread getting on that scale, but it's important that you do your weigh in and keep going...the support you get from everyone, and hearing that someone else was possibly in the same boat as you that week always made me feel better, not so much feeling like I failed that week...although I wanted to see the weight losses, staying the same every so often made me feel better than gaining those weeks or days that I had some little slips...you are right about the salads..they always helped to fill me up too..the free veggies--carrot sticks, celery sticks, etc. always helped too... |

Rep Power: 0 | | | i started WW like 3 weeks ago , i have gone down from 180 to about 174lbs, i could have lost more , but i had a few days in week 3 that i didnt eat so well i used all my extra points and then some i am on the flex point system. I am starting week four tommorow so i am not kicking myself for my bad couple of days of eating, i am just starting fresh and trying to keep focused i find that if u stick to ur daily point u will see results, and i use my extra points only if i have to, like if i go to a party and want a piece of cake , i have a sweet tooth ??? |
