One last question

I know one pound is equal to 3500 calories. If i eat 1200 calorie and I do 2000 calorie excercise and my BMR is 2841, that is -3641. Does this mean I'm losing one pound a day? I think my calculations are wrong though. Could someone confirm this? I also walk alot on top of excercising and when i checked the calculator, it saids i'm burning a extra 1467. This sounds too good to be true so I want to hear your opinions/facts. Thanks.

I want to know how you do 2000 calories worth of exercise a day---are you sure that number is right? I just spent 1 1/2 hours doing cardio and only burnt 600 calories. What are you doing that's making you burn that much?

If you only eat 1,200 and do 2,000 worth of exercise... that's a -600 calories for the day. I would think that you probably wouldn't lose any weight.. as they say you shouldn't go below 1,200 with eating and exercise..

Your body cannot physically lose a pound a day. At least not unless you are in some sort of actual starvation scenario, and then you will lose muscle. You are working out too much for the amount of food you are taking in. You should never burn (with exercise) more calories than you are taking in. Your body needs energy (calories) to do things like breathe, make your heart beat, digest the food you are eating, repair cells, etc. As losing_it pointed out, most places say you shouldn't go below 1200 calories. You may lose weight on you current path, but it will be muscle.
